Boomer: Bengals still a playoff threat

Recommended Posts

Dude the negative Nancy on this board are a joke. The broncos don't look good and either does new England. We'll roll in the playoffs if we have all our playmakers.  The connection gio and Dalton are forming is getting scary, on top of the threats at WR. So we allowed the cards to score 31 on our hobbled secondary. Pacman is back next week, well go right back into playing damn good defense.

People seriously need to chill. Were the 13-3 #2 seed.

Interesting, since when is it important to look good when you are the Pats piling up win after win?

I hope we do roll but the SB goes through NE so don't be concerned how they look, they just fuckin win unfortunately.

We didn't look particularly great in our wins against say, the Seahawks or Bills, but we found a way to win. That's the way of the NFL. The Patriots haven't rolled over everyone, but they've put up more points on average against teams than we have. The Patriots also don't shit the bed when the chips are down, have injuries to key players, play in primetime...that's the difference. We're hanging in there because we're pretty healthy. We've seen what happens when Rex Burkhead and Mohammed Sanu are our starting wideouts. The difference is at QB. And coaching. Brady is good enough to make nobodies look great, Dalton needs all his weapons, and even then it's a little dicey at times.

There's nothing negative in stating the obvious, and I'm not sure Adam Jones would have been the difference maker in the Cards game, a game by all rights we should have AT LEAST sent into overtime if we'd managed the clock properly. But that's our lovable Marvin for ya!

When he gets questioned about it he'll be a proper dick and laugh it off like we're crazy and the reporters asking the pertinent questions are lowlifes that have no clue about what it's really like to play the game. Like fucking Marvin does.
