Dalton is Elite

The fact that he came out shaky and then settled down after continuing to get crushed says a lot about how far this guy has come. He used to wilt when he felt ghost pressure. Now he's standing in the pocket, taking hits, and delivering strikes. He's getting multiple playoff wins this year.

So true. Great point.

Zampese's tendency is to go Air Corryel it seems, it's how he started off calling the game.  He quickly realized that wasn't going to work, not on that defense, and returned to a more Dalton-friendly, O-line friendly game plan of quick passes--truer to a WC type offense and got Dalton into a nice rhythm and took some pressure off of the O-line.

As for Andy Dalton being "elite"/top 10....he just may be.  He's a damn good QB now and I'm very comfortable with him as the QB for the Bengals.  He still makes some mistakes and has bad throws, but every QB does and he's becoming more and more resilient and consistent as a QB and think he's very capable of winning a Superbowl.  Can't ask for much more than that from your QB...
