BS Holding on Ogbuehi led to the safety. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk Agreed, the following things happened to change the game at every instance, all refs fault: - AJ's arm held on the third down fade attempt (yes it was a stupid thing to attempt when you're 6 inches from the goal line but it doesn't change the fact his arm was locked). No call. - BS illegal contact on Dre on a 3rd and long leads to touchdown - BS holding on Ogbuehi leads to safety (as you said). It was still the right call to remove Ogbuehi later because, quite frankly, he sucks. - AJ's arm held/locked on second half fade attempt, again, and even more blatantly, no call. - LaFell's arm held/locked on the long pass attempt, no call. - Gronk taunting an injured player, they let it go, Gronk feels entitled and keeps taunting everyone and eventually gets a penalty. The problem here is now they've let everything escalate (just like the playoff game). - Blount tries to rip Williams' face off after the play, refs throw flag for unsportsmanlike, pick up the flag and say there was no "facemask". After the play. Yeah, keep escalating guys! - Edelman facemasks Dre, Dre reaches (blindly) and does the same, a penalty is called - only on Dre. Even the (useless) announcers talked about - "Interesting no call on the offensive side." Fuck you Ian Eagle, and now you're going to get a whipping from your NFL masters for speaking ill of the holy Patriots. Sorry guys, even with the admitted poor coaching on offense, we should have won this. Key calls and non calls all over today that tilted the game violently in the Pats' direction. snarkster
Time to move over to the Draft Forum. Kick Marv upstairs or to the curb, bring Zim Home, deal McCarron for a 1st and at least one other premium pick. Seeing an OL Coach other than Alexander on the sidelines would be nice. What kind of Comp Picks are we looking at? Draft a WR, 2 DB's, 2 OL's and at least one DL in the first four rounds. Might be time to look for a durable bell cow RB too. 2017 is toast though as far as any kind of serious contention.

Brand new stadium, fans and players LOVE him, his owner isn't cheap and you think he might come home? Dude that ship has sailed. McCarron for a 1st? What?? Damn, did you expect anything less from the NFL and Goodell for Tommy's homecoming game? This was a thank you for not fighting on after the appeal. Seriously, if pussy Marvin doesn't step up and address it I'm done supporting his ass...eventually he has to understand he's making us a whipping boy for the other 31 teams and open his fuckin mouth about the blatant bullshit calls. I don't give a fuck or not he's on the rules committee, step up and have some balls! That damn facemask was a disgrace, Blunt eye gouges Williams and a no call? Fuck you NFL if you don't suspend that ref.

Sorry to even think it much less say it. This team looked much better until the safety today. Shit rolled downhill from there, but it looked a lot like last years team. If they don't self-destruct, this team could rip off every single last game. Regardless, they beat the Bills and Baltimore X2, they will be the 5 or 6 seed. I'd wager our SOS has to be near or probably the highest in the NFL.

My whole post was sarcastic - basically reflecting my disgust with this team (especially the coaching staff) and saying it's time to start looking ahead to other things. No I don't think Zimmer is coming here. Yes I believe it's time to ditch Lewis and yes, I think they can get a 1st at least for McCarron. The reason they haven't dealt him yet you slobbering little dickweed is that he's still cheap, on his rookie contract and they want a solid backup for Dalton. That is now longer the case once this season ends and for all intents and purposes, it ended today.
