For me, it's probably free market capitalism because let's face it, people can get greedy or desperate or refuse to clean up after themselves. It'd be great if we did but if we're agreed not to eat one another we can probably find a better shared goal than a few of us owning lots of things. All for people owning things as individuals, I like cool stuff too, but not at the expense of everyone else struggling to live. So yeah, socialism as far as basic subsistence, not letting people starve etc & otherwise providing opportunities for those willing to work for them, but still retaining a more transparent & regulated capitalism beyond that. Regardless of what you or I think about it, global information sharing & markets are creating a new sort of economy that I'm not sure anyone can really control. Living about an hour and a half from Bmore I've been to the city a number of times, it's really not all that different than Cincinnati in that they are both blue-collar towns that have their share of problems but also have some good things to them too.
