CoachMinich Posted March 26, 2017 Report Posted March 26, 2017 I'd be against OJ Howard in any scenario, but I'd be livid if they took him with Barnett and Foster still on the boardSent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Howard is unanimously ranked above Foster and Barnett. I don't necessarily love it either but I think this is what they do.
CoachMinich Posted March 26, 2017 Report Posted March 26, 2017 I wouldnt say unanimously...Also WRs and McCaffrey are available... at least those would be upgrades I don't get the Howard hype especially for a team with so many issues and a good TE in a deep TE draft Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

McCaffrey plays the same position as Gio, who we just paid. Also he'd be a huge reach #9. Again, this isn't my ideal scenario but it's what I think we do.
akiliMVP Posted March 26, 2017 Author Report Posted March 26, 2017 If Foster didn't have off the field issues I'd be 100% on board with him #9. Combine incident plus bombing interviews with teams gives me quite a bit of pause and I'm not the one about to make him a millionaire.

He's a matchup problem whether he's inline or lined up wide Insurance...if Eifert gets hurt we'll still have a good TE, if we can't re-sign Eifert we'll still have Howard Running a 2 TE offense helps the running game and makes the passing game very versatile

Could say the same with williams. We dont run 2 te sets effectively if at all Dont care what experts say butt in third round would be better value than howard at 9. We dont value the te position and im not taking a 5 year player at 9. Sent from my 2PYB2 using Go-Bengals.com mobile app
