sparky151
Browns were foolish to take Kizer. They don't have a QB and their secondary is poor. That means another high draft pick next year when Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Jake Browning, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield and others will be available. Those guys are all better than Kizer. Supposedly Gregg Williams wanted Obi Melifonwu at pick 52 instead of Kizer and that would have been a good pick for them.
T-Dub
^ Look for them to sign some FA QB later. Vet game manager type w/the lowest turnovers, depending on how Cleveland they want to be? Some WTF trade would not be a total shock, either. Like they want all the offseason hype they can get because.. well, y'know.
Inigo Montoya
None of the quarterbacks in this draft impressed me as sure fire NFL starters. I would say it is better to use a 2nd round pick on a player than to badly overpay for a 2nd round talent in the 1st round like CHI, KC, or HOU. Cleveland had a surplus of picks to work with and they picked up another 1st rounder in 2018 by trading with the Texans. Kizer may or may not pan out, but the Browns haven't mortgaged the future to get him.
