And when the scandal broke, Goodell did everything in his power to protect Robert Kraft, who was one of his strongest supporters and without whom he would not have been named commissioner. Is that quote saying that they were illegally taping signals from 40 different games? If not, that's like saying "Tom Brady completed a forward pass to Rob Gronkowski. THAT'S NOT FAIR!" Also, is there proof or did some guy just decide to make these claims with nothing to back it up? Kind of hard to say something was proven when there aren't any facts involved. It's surprising to me that otherwise intelligent people throw it all out the window when there's a way to "prove" how the Patriots aren't a great team, they just "cheat a lot".
