Go Skins
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2017/08/24/britt-mchenry-rips-left-wing-climate-that-led-to-espns-robert-lee-decision-on-fox-news/?utm_term=.7ebfc1590dc4 Given the political overtones of the story about ESPN switching announcer Robert Lee away from a college football game in Charlottesville, not to mention how viral it went, it should have been no surprise that it came up on Fox News. Sure enough, Tucker Carlson discussed the topic on his show Tuesday, and then again Wednesday with a panel that included Clay Travis, the sports personality who broke the story. Perhaps it also should have been no surprise that Britt McHenry was also on the panel. The former ESPN reporter, an anchor at WJLA before then, has been espousing the sort of conservative opinions that play well with many in Fox’s audience. After Carlson introduced McHenry as having said she was fired by ESPN for her conservative views, she told him, “I can tell you as a former employee that ESPN does do its due diligence in trying to protect the physical safety of its employees,” citing its efforts on her behalf during a playoff hockey game she covered shortly after a video emerged showing her belittling an employee of a towing company. “So I would like to believe, because that would be the only logical consideration, that maybe that was discussed behind the scenes,” she continued, “but I think it’s more of a reflection of society right now, and how left-wing and PC it’s gotten, that even your name, given at birth, or the possibility of a meme on the Internet, is a reason to make a personnel change.”

Go Skins
The way she is posting on social media about politics all the time, I suspect that will be her next career. On Instagram a while ago, she said she is still under contract with ESPN which is why she can't announce her next move yet. She has got a lot of articles in The Washington Post recently. I guess it helps she has more freedom now than when she was employed.

fredtoast
Britt McHenry is full of shit. Will Cain is one of the most conservative right-wing voices in sports radio/TV. In fact before he was on ESPN he was a political commentator for The Blaze which is an conservative media outlet. If ESPN had anything against right wing conservatives they would never have hired Will Cain.

Won't at all be shocked if she ends up on the BlazeTV

fredtoast
Fox is all about "tough guys" and "hot chicks". I watch FoxNews and it always amuses me how they preach about the moral high ground while every woman who appears on screen is in a mini dress and stripper heels. T-Dub
I saw some article about Tomi Lahren's ancestor forging immigration papers & thought it amusing enough to post here, but then I realized this thread is for a different neckbeard fantasy alt-reich mouthpiece. Apologies to Ms. McHenry & good luck with your "at least it's not porn" career.
