the judge informed us that his condition was real and that he suffers it from his time in combat but other than that yes

That's interesting, in that both

A. While not busy with judge duties they also became a trained neurologist

B. All the combat vets with their various & often much worse lingering injuries must be kicking themselves for not embezzling $1.6 million.

I'm guessing there was probably pre-trial stuff that was introduced to verify it but it wasnt critical to the actual case against him other than his in trial seizures (he never actually took the stand) that prevented the case from going to completion.

What was strange is the prosecution separated his trial out from his brothers and Mr. Hall. Who were both found guilty. The judge didnt even understand why they choose to separate them.

He was tasked with finding suppressors for the Navy for a classified project but he basically used his brother as a intermediary to have them built....and here is the kicker.....they built aluminum suppressors.....which are basically useless because aluminum heats up too much....they showed us video of a normal suppressor firing (where they showed suppressors only muffle but not silence the sound of gunfire) and the aluminum suppressors that were built for this contract.....the aluminum ones were garbage and frankly a bit dangerous, one of them when firing actually flew off the gun when it was firing.

IIRC his brother used a few companies to build the parts for them and he put them all together, well most of them anyway they never actually completed the entire order.

And specifically for an AK-47 and not M4/MP5 or whatever?

Sorry for all the questions but the whole thing sounds really sketchy

Yes AK.

It was sketchy that's why the other two were found guilty. Like sketchy to the point that Ladersman's brother never put his last name on the purchase order.

Nuts.  IDK who we were buying them for but it wasn't the Navy. At least, not ultimately.

I might be off about them being for AKs but the defense spent alot of time talking about AK suppressors and their Russian counterparts

Yeah I mean our SF guys have access to a hell of a lot nicer kit than Ak's with suppressors made in a garage.

MGM Resorts International claimed in a new lawsuit that it has no liability in any of the injuries or deaths in the October mass shooting in Las Vegas.

The company, which owns Mandalay Bay and the Route 91 Harvest festival venue, argued that its security vendor took all necessary precautions, approved by the Department of Homeland Security, for “protecting against and responding to acts of mass injury and destruction,” according to the suit acquired by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Watched a doc that claimed the hotel called a private police back-channel when the security guard got shot instead of 911.  Something they do for things they want to handle discretely.

Could be BS.
