2018 Coaching prospects

Watching the Ravens come back from 14-0. It’s amazing to see a well-coached team with players who don’t run for cover after taking a punch. What a gutless bunch of stiffs that currently inhibit this Bengals organization.

Since Harbaugh became head coach the Ravens have only ONE more come from behind victory (44) than the Bengals (43).

Since Dalton arrived in '11 the Bengals have five more come from behind victories (35) than the Ravens (30).

What does that have to do with anything? They came back from 14-0 against Pittsburgh on the road and they have ZERO offensive talent. That’s good coaching. They scored in the second half against Pittsburgh! Never thought I’d live to see the day...

but thank you for the tip. I’m glad Marvin’s team was able to come from behind against the Colts this year while playing at home. It means more to me than Harbaugh’s .590 winning percentage, 10 playoff wins, and 1 Super Bowl.

Harbaugh - his 10 playoff wins are the second most by any head coach in the NFL since 2008. Outside winning Super Bowl XLVII, Harbaugh has guided the Ravens to two AFC North division championships and three AFC Championship appearances.

Flacco - 10 and 5 obviously.

Wow... no matter how you slice it, Lewis and Dalton suck ass, especially compared to the Ravens.

There are only 6 teams that have not won a playoff game since Lewis became head coach;

LOSER!!!

So STFU about stupid ass stats that don't mean a damn thing.

The stats above should be the ONLY stats that matter when judging an Owner and a head coach.

What about John Fassel, Special Teams Coach for the LA Rams for the next Bengals coach.  He has a similar profile to Harbaugh and his units have been some of the best in the league.  Don't think it makes sense to recycle Hue, Jay or Vance.

If he's a chip off the old block,  I wouldn't oppose.

You didn’t prove anyone wrong, you dolt lol. Like I said, I could care less if we come back against Pagano’s Colts at home. Come back from 14-0 against Pittsburgh on the road and then talk to me. Mediocre standards from a mediocre poster.

You've got a hard on for a Ravens team that LOST to the Stealers and then you try to claim that I am the one with mediocre standards?

In the last 5 years the Bengals have won games against playoff bound Ravens teams when they trailed in the 4th quarter (not halftime) THREE times.  The Bengals have overcame a 17 point third quarter deficit to the Seahawks, a 16 point 3rd quarter deficit to the Packers, and also won games against the Stealers and Broncos when they trailed in the 4th quarter with pretty much the same coaches and players we had on the sidelines Sunday.  That game against the Bears was a nightmare, but it does not define all the Bengals players and coaches on this team.

It kind of does a perfect job of defining the 2017 Bengals coaches and players though. We suck this year.

So Madieu makes his point, the Ravens were on the road down 14-0 and fought back to take a 31-20 lead.  He then said we CURRENTLY have gutless stiffs in our organization.  Note bolded area above.  Your response was this:

Did anyone say anything about the last 7 or 10 years?  NO.  As we will see in Madieu's next post,... he asks a simple question:  what does that have to do with anything?  He specifically stated the CURRENT Bengals organization, not the team from 2008.

Excellent response. Keep in mind the Ravens scored 24 second half points on the road against the Stealers.   MS made a specific point about the CURRENT BENGAL'S organization and at the same time destroyed Fred's silly statistic about come from behind victories being a meaningful measure of overall success.

This post is classic Fred.   He is the one that completely changed the subject and then claims Madieu did.    At no time did Madieu make any claim that the Ravens, HISTORICALLY, were a far better come from behind team than the Bengals.  He simply stated that the current Bengals organization was a gutless bunch of stiffs which is hard to dispute given the fact the team totally mailed in yesterday's game and fell apart against the Stealers at home by only scoring 3 second half points.  Then Fred makes up quotes Madieu never said.  CLASSIC.

Its a very talented team on both sides of the ball.  Foles is a decent backup so I think they still have a shot to make a run.

This is classic coming from the guy who thinks he can win every argument by talking about what has happened in the past.  The past is all that matters to him, but for some reason it is forbidden for me to even bring it up.

WTF? Both SF2 and Madieu keep talking about RIGHT NOW, THIS YEAR'S VERSION OF THE TEAM WE CLAIM TO LOVE. It is you that keeps bringing up the past or stats that have little bearing on the outcome of our seasons (fun fact: we don't win in the end).

Sorry Fred, your point once again has nothing to do with the original discussion. I didnt offer an opinion other than point out you once again completely changed the premise then claimed victory.

Board: "The Bengals SUCK in the second half this season"

Fred: "Since Andy Dalton arrived he has more 4th quarter comebacks then almost every team."

Board:"Uhh What?"

4th quarter comebacks don't tell you anything about total wins or losses. Doesn't tell you that the Bengals scored only 3 points in the second half last week and zero this week,..both losses.

I never changed any premise.  Madieu and I are talking about the exact same coaches.

It really amazes me how so-called "bengal fans" lose their shit whenever anyone dares to suggest that they have been anything other than the most gutless, stupid loser pussies in the entire league for the past 25 years.
