CLE pick #1 will be in the 1-2 range
CLE pick #2 (from HOU) will be in the 2-14 range
CIN pick will be in the 3-16 range
BAL pick will be in the 11-32 range
PIT pick will be in the 21-32 range

If Cleveland does not trade any picks this year Hue will have had the following number of picks in just three drafts

1st round.....6 (including two #1's and a #2)

2nd.............5

3rd..............5

4th..............7

5th..............7

That is 30 picks in the first 5 pounds, or the equivalent of six years worth of picks, in just three drafts.  And the Browns front office spent some cash on free agents.  I know that Zeitler was not the only O-lineman they signed.

Hue has no excuse for not winning next year.

Sure he does. They'll probably finally take a top rookie QB with their first pick so he'll be starting a rookie again next year. They sure aren't going to start Kizer again.

So who do we take at 12? I would hope that it would be a tackle or a linebacker. We don't need a receiver there, especially now that Boyd is healthy and starting to produce, Lafell has been above average, we have AJ Green, then we have Core, Malone and Ross waiting in the wings. We need to get Erickson off the field as a wideout other than for a few tricky type plays. We're probably set at RB, though I'd take another in the later rounds. We need linebackers and offensive linemen.

Well, it's an even numbered year, that means a CB.

And here's the final draft order... at least for the 20 non-playoff teams:

1: CLE (0-16) (no change)
2: NYG (3-13)
3: IND (4-12) SoS=0.480
4: CLE (from HOU (4-12) SoS=0.516) (no change)
5: DEN (5-11) SoS=0.492
6: NYJ (5-11) SoS=0.520
7: TBB (5-11) SoS=0.555
8: CHI (5-11) SoS=0.559
9/10: SFF (6-10) SoS=0.512
9/10: OAK (6-10) SoS=0.512
11: MIA (6-10) SoS=0.543
12: CIN (7-9) SoS=0.465 (-2 spots)
13: WAS (7-9) SoS=0.539
14: GBP (7-9) SoS=0.539
15: ARI (8-8)
16: BAL (9-7) SoS=0.441 (+6 spots)
17: LAC (9-7) SoS=0.457
18: SEA (9-7) SoS=0.563
19: DAL (9-7) SoS=0.496
20: DET (9-7) SoS=0.496

Notes:
9/10: SFF and OAK will be decided by a coin-flip
13/14: WAS pick ahead of GBP on Conference Tiebreak (best win percentage in common games.)
19/20: DAL pick ahead of DET on Conference Tiebreak (best win percentage in conference games.)

Picks 21-32 will be based on the order that teams exit the playoffs, but if they were ranked right now on Win Pct and SoS they would be:

21: TEN (9-7) SoS=0.434
22: BUF (9-7) SoS=0.492
23: JAX (10-6) SoS=0.434
24: BUF (from KCC (10-6) SoS=0.477)
25: ATL (10-6) SoS=0.543
26: LAR (11-5) SoS=0.504
27: NOS (11-5) SoS=0.535
28: CAR (11-5) SoS=0.539
29: PIT (13-3) SoS=0.453 (no change)
30: PHI (13-3) SoS=0.461
31: NEP (13-3) SoS=0.484
32: MIN (13-3) SoS=0.492

The 4 teams with a bye (PIT/PHI/NEP/MIN) cannot lose in the Wild Card round, so they will pick in the 25-32 range.

I think the only positions we absolutely will not even entertain @ 12 are RB, WR, S, and DT. I want to write QB but ya never know with a possible new HC in town.

Surely we wouldn't take another CB in the first round, would we? We are more solid in that group than in the o-line or LB corps. I could maybe see another DE there. I don't really watch college football so I don't know what players are whom, but I can clearly see what the Bengals need.

Pacman's wheels have to fall off sometime and I think his contract can be voided without taking a big cap hit. Makes me think the Bengals prepared for a possible departure. Also, Dennard is a FA after next season. Who do you keep with Kirkpatrick? Dennard or Jackson? Dennard is going to get paid somewhere and if it's here, William Jackson is getting mega bucks from somewhere else. I think if a guy they believe in is there, Pacman gets the axe, they draft the corner, and that corner registers 30 defensive plays in 2018. It's what we do.

Go to YouTube and watch Bradley Chubb (think that's his name) versus FSU. Whoa! Dude was an animal. Then I watched Chubb versus someone else and didn't come away with nearly the same evaluation as before. Maybe Louisville or Miss State? I've watched a lot of different guys lately and can't remember. I have to see more but he's a DE that definitely looks the part of a first round pick. I think he may have a little Burfict in him. Looks like he chatters a lot and I saw a couple plays where he really laid into the guy when it wasn't necessary. Kinda rolled over him on a QB hit. The NFL is so hellbent on stopping that stuff, it may be an issue at the next level.

Chubb will be long gone by the time we pick.

Unless he gets arrested between now and then.

I live in NC, I'll see what I can do about that.

I could have swore Dunlap and MJ were both FAs after this season but it must be after 2018 because their names aren't coming up for 2017 FAs. Willis, Lawson, Dunlap, and a first round talent are a pretty dang good four man rotation to have, especially with our ends.... I gotta stop myself dead in my tracks there. I forgot about Chris Smith. It would take an amazing evaluation of a prospect and a top notch grade to bring in a DE with our current group. Well, you'd think, but we did draft Chris Perry and I'll never forget how blown my mind was when that happened.

He will probably be gone, you're right. If the rest of his games are anything like that FSU game, he should probably go to CLE #1. I don't think I've seen a one man wrecking crew like that ever. But again, I've only watched two games worth. You guys extensively scout anyone I should check out? I love the time leading up to the draft. Only issue is we are so wide open with where we need help, it's hard to narrow down the position. I watched a bit of the Price kid and I love the guy. He's exactly what this team needs. We underestimated letting our leader go to LAR and we need someone to take that spot. Price makes so much sense that we won't do it. Just to be clear, I don't care about the buckeyes. Dude is a legit leader and we need it so bad.

I watched a little of that roquan smith or something from GA (the LB). Wasn't as impressed as I was with the Alabama rocket LB last year that went to SF. But I've definitely not watched enough to hype or hate on the guy. Just didn't care for the super small sample size I did watch. Looked like he got tangled up in traffic too much. Excited to watch him tomorrow though.

I don't even want to think about Garrett and Chubb on the same line.  Damn.
