MichaelWeston
QB coaches. We are falling under the realm of guys who I saw play. 1) I am feeling old. 2) I think they seem more interesting because I know their names from their playing days. Regardless.... 1. Alex Van Pelt-Packershttp://www.packers.com/team/coaches/van-pelt-alex/e4eb93fb-654c-475d-8547-7c97864bfb99 2. According to Sporting News reporter Alex Marvez, the Bengals are keeping tight ends coach Jonathan Hayes. This news comes in light of the Bengals also keeping offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons, and running backs coach Kyle Caskey but parting with offensive line coach Paul Alexander. No mention of assistant to the assistant consultation assistant, Marcus Lewis, but he will probably be back. Glad Lazor is coming back as OC and was not just a temp. MichaelWeston
Del Rio makes tons of sense as the DC with his relationship with Marvin. After doing more research Philbin might make the most sense as an OL and AHC. If not him Tice or Goodwin would be great. Leftwich seems to really stand out amongst those QB coaches. |schotzee|
Any news on Guenther ? The one statement I thought I remember from Marvin was basically, if he didn't make up his mind by Wednesday the 3rd, they were moving on. Anybody else see it that way?
