spicoli Posted March 5, 2018 Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 I'm actually feeling pretty good about one of the two stud LB's dropping right into our laps at 12 ....I have a pretty hard time believing that Denzel Ward and Derwin James aren't both top 11 picks .....Denzel is completely solidified as the top CB in the draft IMO, and when's the last time that the top corner in the draft didn't go in the top 11? maybe once in the last 10 years or so? .... everyone knew that Derwin James is a freak but it was on FULL display today .... if it wasn't for a knee injury in 2016, no one would even bat an eye at the thought of James going top 5...he's obviously 100% now and his coaches at Fla St absolutely rave about his leadership and work ethic....hard to believe someone doesn't pull the trigger early. So figure a CB, G, RB, DE, 2 safeties, likely 3 QB's ...so that's 9 right there with a halfway decent chance that another QB finds his way in there. it's just tough for me to see 2 LB's going before us.
