MichaelWeston
7 picks to go. Where are the places that a new player can actually make the team? Current Roster: Needs for 2018 We could still use a better RT, NT and 3rd LB but the team may believe they have that already. QB: Backup (Possibly Barkley/Driskel or Matt Moore) RB: 3rd or 4th back (Possibly Carson/Williams/Peerman) RT: Starter (Possibly Hart/Fisher/Ogbuehi) LT: Backup (Possibly Fisher/Ogbuehi) NT: Starter (Possibly Billings/Baker) LB: Starter (Possibly Vigil/Williams/Evans/Jefferson) CB: 4th Corner (Possibly Adam Jones/Russel) QB Dalton 21 Barkley 20 Driskel 20 RB Mixon 21 Bernard 20 Hill 19 Carson 19 Williams 19 HB Hewitt 20 Carter 20 WR Green 20 Malone 20 Ross 22 WR LaFell 19 Core 20 Whitfield 19 WR Boyd 20 Erickson 19 TE Eifert 19 Kroft 19 Uzomah 19 Schrek 21 Orndoff 19 LT Glenn 21 Ogbouehi 20 Murray 19 Leamon 19 LG Boling 20 Westerman 20 C Price 23 Johnson 19 RG Hopkins 19 Redmond 19 Omoile 19 RT Fisher 19 Perkins 19 Hart 19 K Bullock 19 Brown 19 P Huber 21 LS Harris 19 LE Dunlap 19 Willis 21 LT Atkins 19 Billings 20 Tupou 20 RT Baker 19 Glasgow 21 RE Johnson 19 Hubbard 22 SLB Lawson 21 Evans 21 Jefferson 22 Bradford 19 MLB Brown 19 Rey 19 Nickerson 19 WLB Burfict 21 Vigil 20 Bell 19 Harris 19 S Williams 21 Fejedelem 20 Shaw 19 Therezie 19 S Iloka 21 Bates 22 Wilson 19 CB Kirkpatrick 22 Dennard 19 McRae 19 CB Jackson 21 Russell 20 Shelton 20 2019 Free Agents The second piece of the picture is who replaces our 2019 Free Agents LaFell 19 (Malone, Ross) Eifert 19 (?) Kroft 19 (?) Uzomah 19 (?) Ogbouehi 19 (?) Fisher 19 (?) Hart 19 (?) Bullock 19 (?) Harris 19 (?) Dunlap 19 (Lawson, Willis, Hubbard) Atkins 19 (?) Baker 19 (?) Johnson 19 (Willis, Hubbard) Brown 19 (Jefferson, Vigil) Rey 19 (Evans, Vigil) Dennard 19 (?) Shaw 19 (Bates 3) With all this it would seem that we should go after 1) T or NT. If we could get a starter caliber player at either position they could make an impact in 2018 2) RB. Right now we have very unproven depth and there is probably a good spot for someone who can also play teams. 3) CB. Our 3rd CB is a FA next year and our 4th and 5th are untested or playing S some too. In terms of replacing FA's TE is the biggest spot but Schreck might be a decent guy and is an unknown. The best answer would be to keep a healthy Eifert. A hopeful Mock 112: Crosby-T-Oregon 151: Kelly-RB-Tennessee 158: Lauletta-QB-Richmond 170: Phillips-CB-WMU 249: Wolf-TE-Tenn 252: Toth-T-Army 253: Redding-WR-BGSU
TimKrumrieFan
OT, CB, DT, QB, RB, WR are all positions that have opportunities to make the team.
T-Dub
OT for the love of Jebus.. We had the worst tackle tandem in the NFL last season, traded for one guy of extremely questionable durability, and are content to sit around patting ourselves on the back like It's like some loser shit where they want to leave themselves an out.. Oh we went 3-13 but y'know, injuries, I mean Cordy Glenn hurt his foot and who could have seen that coming?! Let's take some parts from Eifert and some other parts from Glenn & sew them together with Mike Brown's good intentions, OFFENSIVE EXPLOSMS!! /rant
