Why are we still talking about Eifert like he is relevant to anything?  If Redeemer wants to keep paying him for 2015 I guess that's his money to burn but IDK why any fan would be factoring him into anything other than the salary cap.

He doesn't have to put up 2015 numbers to justify his pay or make this Offense playoff worthy.

I know, once a player is injured, they're always injured.

I honestly think people are underestimating the addition-by-subtraction of losing Bodine and Ogbuehi as starters, and gaining a proven LT and center that I for one would mark down as several orders of magnitude better than Bodine without ever seeing him step on an NFL field.  Center alone is something we've been sorely lacking for many years, and is integral to a successful line.

I agree that RT is sketchy at best right now, but the point is well taken that Pollock is bringing in a new system and for all we know the guys in the building are better suited to that scheme.  From my perspective Alexander was more of a "power" system (where big brutes are required) and from what I've *heard* Pollock is more a zone guy with some power mixed in.  I think it's safe to say Fisher isn't suited to a power scheme, but maybe, just maybe, he *is* suited to a zone scheme.  We'll have to wait and see, and I for one am willing to trust Pollock and give him a chance to fail before I say a day 3 tackle would put us over the top, regardless of what Pollock and Lazor are going to do.

By that logic then, the addition of Glenn doesn't mean shit.  :D

OR, and I know this is some far-out crazy shit, but maybe when a player has consistently been unable to finish a season without injury several years in a row, MAYBE it would be a good idea to have a solid contingency plan should they somehow amazingly hurt themselves yet again.  Jebus wept, is it really that hard to understand?  Why would any team put themselves in a position to where an injury to a single player can derail their entire season, if they can help it?

You forgot they got an OC that has an off season to install his own system, traded for a LT and re-signed one

of the best TEs in the NFL (when healthy). The problems with the Offense wasn't about drafting late round O-linemen.

Perhaps, more likely the mistakes they made were long before then.

Lazard or Tate is fine with me.  I want a big body WR for the red zone especially.

I would have loved to have drafted Marcel Ateman for that role. Really shaking my head on that one, especially considering some of the picks we made.
