|westside bengal|
The Bengals were in the nickel defense 2/3 of the time in 2017. The rookie Malik Jefferson has the size, speed and athletic ability to play that hybrid linebacker/safety role that is becoming popular in nickel/dime packages. Maybe he will be an option? My thought/hope is that when they go 3 safety/nickel look is that Shawn Williams is the safety playing LB. I think he’s well suited to that role.
