sparky151
Giants had a bad O-line last year and didn't want Hart back. He was the equivalent of a street free agent like Giacomini. Both are below average RTs. We need to get up to average on the right side of the line.

I can only guess Pollack thought he could coach more out of him. We'll see how that goes.

Rick
Mixon had 1 YPC, and Bernard had 0.9 YPC against the Bills. I wonder if either player said anything to the offensive line after the game?
|schotzee|
Just a thought. With the offense already dominating in the pass , maybe Lazor didn't want to show his hand with the run call plays.

PatternMaster
Rick you have to relax brother, this is the best oline we have had in the past few years. It might take a few games to get going but I know the running game will be fine.

T-Dub
While we wait for PatternMaster's bath salts to wear off... Hoping we can nab an OT off waivers this weekend. I'm not expecting much but just about anyone would be an improvement. In fact I don't even care if they are better, so long as the Ced/Fisher nightmare comes to an end. At least they won't feel overly invested in some waiver wire pick up.
HOF dan
The drafting of Fisher and Ced coupled with the loss of Whitworth was one of the biggest screw ups in franchise history (and there have been quite a few)

If we would have passed on Ced, he would have been picked a few slots later. Same with Fisher. Fact is quite a few O line guys every year end up being garbage. ccartman2
Well with college being mostly spread option it's hard to find NFL ready linemen. Especially for straight up run blocking. And yes letting whit go was a dumbass move
UncleEarl
As I said before....Oogie-Boogie looked OK backing up vs. Buffalo. Do I want him starting? Hell, no...but he may suffice as a backup.

My feeling is the braintrust is simply trying to figure out which guy stays as a backup at this point. I honestly can't imagine keeping both. Its not even a money thing its basically a get fuck out of here you piece of shit thing.

Bad luck, nothing more I seriously doubt Ced O would have been a first rd pick . He was too hurt to contribute anything in his first yr. That's an enormous risk for a first rd guy. Smart teams don't risk that. That's called a project in my book and you don't pick up OL projects in rd 1. I also think Fisher was overdrafted. He was coming out of a spread O and those guys are awfully hard to convert to much in the NFL

Nobody expected him to get to round 2. Fisher was mentioned in a few mocks near the end of round 1. No way he was going to round 3.
|schotzee|
I'm reading Jamon Brown of the Rams may be getting cut or possibly traded. Suspended for first 2 games but still worth trading for imo. Experienced at right guard and right tackle. Get er done I say Katie.
