Falcons DB ejected for the same sort of hit that got Williams tossed last week:

Sucks being a no-name guy in the NFL.

Williams hit was really, really bad. This one is even worse.

Let's be fair, too, this would have been a personal foul before this, the year of reshaping the game. And, to make these situations into deterrents, the ejections are necessary. To tee off on a sliding quarterback is simply not a necessary facet of the game.

agreed.. Williams at least tried to use his shoulder.. still needed the penalty

this his was terrible... no need for it

Cam vs Bengals next week (moving into NBA-like no-teams-just-stars mode) will be regionally based coverage, so we may escape the constant camera shots of Wiiliams and the evil dark-covered lens on his helmet, looking ominously at Starman Cam...with the incessant reminder that he was ejected for a late hit on another star QB.

Or, then again, maybe not. The undercard announcers and writers need practice too.

KC was impressive today against Pittsburgh, at least on offense.  Mahomes lit it up and he has weapons all over the place.  Not much defense was played either way and the Chiefs may have to win a bunch of shootouts this year.

Jacksonville had probably the best win of the day and they did it without Leonard Fournette.  Their defense stymied Brady most of the game and Bortles threw for 4 TD.  They look like legit Super Bowl contenders if he continues to play like he did today.

Watching some games over the last week and had a couple thoughts.

Marvin Jones must have left his hands in Cincinnati.  Dropping a lot of balls.  Mo Sanu is a real deal football player.  Blocks like a man.  He sprung Falcons RBs a couple times today.  Wish we would have kept him.  Great #3.

Carolina receivers are not reliable.  Cam Newton has to be pulling his hair out.  Still, given time Newton is accurate.  The Bengals D will need to get pressure on him.

The Panthers have a ton of injuries on the offense, especially on the line. If the Bengals can tackle well and limit Cam's big plays on the ground the defense should be able to have a good day versus the Panthers at home.

Not sure ifthis was posted yet. Not sure why he didn't retire after Ross torched him in pre-season.

Their team is absolute garbage although Allen did engineer 2 second half TDs after Davis left.

From the playoffs to worst team in the league in just one offseason.  How Buffalo of them.  They have their own dysfunctional ownership in the "white knight" Pegula family.  They pour money in to the Bills and the Sabres, but they both have front office drama and horrific records.  As bad as the Brown family is, they probably aren't the worst owners in the NFL.
