Most NFL Power Rankings published Tuesday morning have the 2-0 Cincinnati Bengals somewhere around Nos. 11 or 12. But The Washington Post's rankings have the Bengals as the fourth best team in the NFL, up from No. 8 last week.

Washingtonpost.com's Mark Maske has the Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs as the only three teams ranked higher than the Bengals, with the Minnesota Vikings rounding out the top 5.

From Maske:

The Bengals’ start is oh-so-promising, and they’ve made an early-season case that they’re the team to beat in the AFC North. But now they must get by without RB Joe Mixon, who’s sidelined for an estimated two weeks after knee surgery.

USA TODAY Sports' latest power rankings have the Bengals No. 11, up five spots from No. 16 last week.

They are several spots higher than AFC North rivals Pittsburgh (No. 16), Baltimore (No. 17) and Cleveland (No. 22).

"Might be best team you won't see rest of this year. Barring flex changes, Cincinnati will play 1 p.m. local starts for season's duration," USA TODAY adds about the Bengals.

Yeah good catch. SanDiego game isn't gonna be a local 1 pm start.

It's local for SD. That's why the writer used the term "local" rather than eastern time. They'll start at 1pm in the local time of where they're playing
