I’m waiting for Bruce Arians to say he’s interested in the Bengals job. Not likely, though. I sure he’s pretty non-plussed about the prospect of working with Andy Dalton.

Arians would tell Mikey every day how good it was to work with CP.

Any internal candidate hire is going to free up a bunch of Sunday's for me.

If I wanted to watch a bunch of assholes play bad football, then I can turn to the LFL.

There was close to a full moon sighting in Sunday's game. Ringo, I think. In slow motion replay.

McDaniels says, nah...not even worth talking with Mike Brown.

I don't blame you. I tried not to see it. Who is that in the video? The Burdock of the LFL?

Funny thing... I showed that to my wife and was like "Whatever the girl version of teabagging is..." She says, "Tuna sandwiching".

The clip you see above is pretty routine for the LFL. Their pay structure is 20% of the gate if they win, 10% if they lose. So it's surprisingly competitive football considering it's a bunch of strippers and playboy models. Touchdown celebrations often involve a beer being chugged.

And these girls have guns....

So far all OC's from great offenses and internal guys including Vance Joseph.

Taylor-Bieniemy-Monkin. I could get talked into all 3.

I assume they are meeting with Vance for 2 days with the DC position in mind. Joseph has ties to Bieniemy. Monkin and Taylor don't have obvious ties to DC's that I have seen. You get any of those offenses and the Broncos D from 2017 and we are contenders.

Why all the hate for Simmons? I mean, would you be cool with him finally being say, a coordinator instead of our HC? He's been the ST's coach seemingly forever. Is there a specific reason for that (he sucks as a coach so that's all he can handle, or he's really good at that specific job, etc)?

I don’t hate the idea.

Agreed.  I know it's not very telling in the big picture, but whenever the camera shows the sidelines it seems to me that Simmons is the only coach that seemed to have ANY fire.  The rest all seem to have the now patented "Marv Stare n' Clap".  He seems to do fairly well with an ever changing cast of 2nd rate characters on special teams, so I can only imagine he *MIGHT* also do well with first tier skilled players too.  BWTFDIK?

Interesting discussion on the sports radio today with some NFL insider, a former coach but did not catch his name. He said the most underrated thing coaches look for is owner and GM stability, they care about this more than the current staff or current roster. Most coaches want to know they will be given the time (years) to work and implement systems, etc.
