Is it possible that the Bengals hire a GM this year ?

just out of curiosity, has the Mike Brown model worked out to your satisfaction?

or how about the Marvin Lewis model?

we're all fans LT, we're supposed to want better than the pile of shit we've been handed for the last almost 30 years now....why you feel the need to constantly rail against that, I have no idea..

Yeah maybe I'm misunderstanding somehow but I don't think wanting Marvin fired and Hue far away from our sideline is at all unreasonable.

Duke Tobin is already the GM.

And just like most GMs, Tobin is occasionally forced to defer to the owner.

The issue over the last few years really may have very little to do with Mike Brown, and lie more on the shoulders of Marvin Lewis.

The glaring hole on this roster is At quarterback. Andy Dalton’s not any better now than he was four years ago - and that’s bottom third of the starters in the league. If Marvin had wanted a new QB, the organization would have gone and gotten him one.

The John Ross pick makes more sense than people give it. If you look around the league, teams with the most dynamic offenses employ at least one undersized burner. Tobin and Co. thought they were getting Tyreek Hill when they took Ross. They knew there was an injury risk, and they rolled the dice. It doesn’t mean it was a horrible idea.

The pick that has killed them was Ogbuehi. NOBODY thought this kid was be unplayable. That whole 2015 Draft Class - which at the time was heralded as a bunch of great “value picks” fell flat. It happens.

But PFF rated him 12th overall?  I mean that's cool if you want to say he's bottom 3rd instead, really makes no difference, I only ask that you keep this in mind should you be tempted to quote PFF numbers in the future.

Are silver helmets the industry standard that they refuse to adapt to? Oh they're not? Gosh then wtf are you even talking about, how confusing for you...

OK, I'll try to dumb it down for you....what has the supposed "industry standard" done for the Cleveland Browns?

Let's talk about dumb then:

1. All restaurants have dishwashers

2. Some restaurants are bad

3. Therefore, my restaurant doesn't need a dishwasher

Also you may not have noticed but the Bengals got swept by the Cleveland Browns.  Maybe time to find a different example?

You & Kenny should form Team "The Fire Will Put Itself Out"

And rated our O-Line the worst in the league. And our defense was historically bad.

Sure, Andy Dalton is the problem. Now let's just go out and do the super easy task of finding a top 10 QB to replace him so people will quit complaining about it.

Kinda hard to gauge the O-line play when I can sit on my couch and predict the play calls with about 90% accuracy.

And I’m not sure I understand the self-imposed rule the Bengals have against putting two running backs on the field at the same time. I’m not sure I’ve ever - not even once - seen Mixon and Bernard on the field together.

The only saving grace for this offense is A.J. Green. Teams know it’s going to him and still can’t stop it.

I thought that, before Billy Price went down, the o-line was pretty good.

Linebacker? Yeah. That position group needs to be better, but the biggest problem this year was their health. That is the low-key issue that crushed this defense this year. It’s a simple equation: If Hardy Nickerson Jr is on the field, you have stretched your roster to maximum capacity.

If Devin White (LSU) is there at 11 - and assuming Haskins is gone - the Bengals should take him. He’s the best LB in this class. Problem is, if White is gone, there’s probably not another LB (that fits) that’s worthy of a top 15 pick. Josh Allen from KY is nice, but he’s probably a pass rush specialist in the NFL.

All right, now pay attention. First of all, Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. 'Oh, Debbie. Hi.' Two, you always call the shots. 'Kiss me. You won't regret it.' Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. 'Isn't this great?' Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of ya. It's a classy move. 'Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice.' And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV

For a movie which all the critics despised back in its day...it has survived to be the classic that it is. I never get tired of watching it.

Add in Dazed and Confused and Animal House and you have yourself one hell of a box set.
