"[Andy Dalton] has played a lot better than he has not."

Translation 1: "He was good until he was bad."

Translation 2: "He was good until he was not."

Coachspeak.  What's he supposed to say?

Translation 3: “He has more games/minutes where he has played well, versus games/minutes where he has not played well.”

Interpretation of implication:  “We’re going to do everything we can to get the ‘good Andy’ (better OL protection, better plays, etc.)...and the ‘good Andy’ will win us a lot of football games.”  🏈

Matthew Stafford, 10 years in league, only 3 trips to playoffs all losses, career record 66-75. But he is awesome and shit.

Andy Dalton, 9 years in league, 5 playoff seasons, 67-50-2, he can’t get it done.

Sometimes I forget Detroit has a football team. Not sure why Stafford gets such light treatment in this league.

Not sure about Carr but he plays for a shit organization and actually had a good season. Too bad Chuckie sucks all the air out of the room and doesn’t seem to like good players.
