HOF dan
I've read most of the stuff on here the last few days and didn't see this one. Over at the Bengals site they mentioned that Pratt is getting jersey number 57, alluding to Vinnie being gone. I know he wasn't Ray Lewis but, man that kid saved our bacon a whole bunch of times coming off the bench. He is a total class act to boot. I guess we'll see soon enough. whodey?
Wikipedia says he’s a free agent. Looks like his contract was up in March.
I_C_Deadpeople
Should have been gone 5 years ago, he was an overpaid backup who could not beat out marginal starters.

I’m not sure about overpaid, but I’d say he was likely never to have been expected to beat out anyone...he was always assumed to be a teamer and a backup. Yeah, an undrafted Free Agent that had a 9 year career. GTFOH!

|BlackJesus|
He seemed like a good guy, but he just wasn't very good. The fact he ever played was a sign of how weak the LB position was (and lacking in depth).

T-Dub
Ray answered the bell just about every time. Potential doesn't mean a thing on the sideline, hobbling around in a boot or suspended. He many not be a Hall of Fame player but you can't question his toughness.
sparky151
There are still some veteran free agents out there who aren't expensive and would make the team. How about Manti Teo, Dontrelle Inman, Joe Barksdale, or LeGarrette Blount? I wish we'd have picked up Josh Shaw again, he's on a vet min deal with AZ. Or Jake Ryan, who signed with the Jags for 1 mil.
