Of all the things Bengals fans should complain about, this isn't it.

Fwiw, until he starts winning or makes it out of round one of the playoffs, he should be acting and dressing classy.  Bilicheat can dress that way and get away with it.  We haven't won in ages.

”Think classy, you'll be classy. If you win 20 in the show, you can let the fungus grow back and the press'll think you're colorful. Until you win 20 in the show, however, it means you are a slob.”

It's a minor thing, really. But it does show the stark differences of times gone by.

Williams comes from the University of Alabama--where historically players have worn suits/ties when showing up for official events. Actually, it is commonplace at a lot of universities. Heck, we used to wear suits/ties for Friday night road games when we were in HS (unless there was no dressing room at the opposing school). It was just a normal expression of dignity and pride in your school/organization.

Not sure where Boy Wonder falls in this tradition--thinking he was a Nebraska guy, it was probably more formal.

A golf shirt with a Bengals logo would have been fine.  Nobody is thinking he should be wearing Armani.  Half the people in there probably didn't even know who he was.

He's from Texas A&M, be glad he didn't show up in nothing but jorts and a pair of flip-flops.

15 years of Marvin Lewis and we're talking about a dress code.  We don't deserve nice things.

No, we are talking about an adult who is the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals wearing something just a little nicer than a wrinkled untucked dress shirt at a league wide event.

Because he wore a flannel that one time

:lmao:

It’s attention to detail that makes a good team great. This guy can’t even iron his shirt.  McVay never looks like this.

I'm not going to waste one of my free Enquirer online articles on this dog shit but who is this skank-bag writer and is she hot?

I just glanced at it when this thread was first opened and IIRC it was a "Letters to the Editor" piece...so written by a reader not a journalist.  None the less, whether she is hot or not is still a critical piece of information though, and if she is, we'd obviously also need pics posted.

This topic is brought to you by grandmas and the rest of the old people at McDonalds every morning by 6A.  Word is they also voiced their intention to use their spit-covered thumbs to make sure his face was clean too, but typing and eating soft foods is just too hard.

His fuckin shirt....  Aye Motherfuckin Carumba.
