Todd McShay's 2020 NFL mock draft has Bengals going back to a top-10 WR

Entering the 2019 NFL season, the Cincinnati Bengals don’t need help at wide receiver.

One expert thinks that could change.

ESPN’s Todd McShay is the latest to put out a 2020 NFL mock draft. And while most expert 2020 mocks keep giving the Bengals quarterbacks near the top of the order, McShay has a different idea.

From McShay:

7. Cincinnati Bengals
CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma*

Jalen Hurts is going to love this talented receiver in that Oklahoma offense, and Cincy wouldn’t mind him, either. Lamb has good, 6-2 size and knows his way to the end zone. He caught 65 balls for 1,158 yards and 11 scores in 2018.

First, the slot for Lamb the player isn’t too hard to agree with — he was a stud last year and is only improving:

And wideout could definitely be an option for the Bengals this time next year. Both A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd are in contract years and John Ross has yet to break out like the team envisioned when making him a top-10 pick.

In a perfect world, the Bengals find a way to keep both Green and Boyd and this won’t be necessary. But if it is for one reason or another, Lamb is a prospect to keep in mind.

I'm pretty sure that won't happen but it would be truly terrible if it did.

Not impossible if John Ross shits the bed again proving he is a monumental bust.

And Finley does look like a legitimate starter and Andy replacement.

However, getting a killer linebacker still seems more of a need after this draft.

Unless Hardy Nickerson sells is soul to the devil and becomes mediocre.
