No and that's why this is pointless, the only reason ML was here this long rests with the front office. Put the blame where it belongs, not on a guy who wanted to do his best while making millions. Not one of you condescending fucks would have resigned from that cash cow either, especially when his son was there too so stop it.

Calling out ML for being a below average coach in not condescending, it’s a well known fact. If I had done the same, I wouldn’t be taking jabs at the organization after they finally let me go. And please, I am supposed to feel bad for his silver spoon fed son? LOL. Sorry, glad he is gone and looking to the future.

There was no reason to make the comment and it comes off as someone who doesn't really care what happens to the Bengals going forward. It may be untrue and he may have just misspoken at the moment but it still sounded like he was turning his back on his players and doesn't really care what happens to them. Sour grapes maybe but he was given WAY WAY more chances than any other franchise would have ever given him and keep in mind, his hiring at the time addressed many issues the league had with the absence of black coaches. The Brown family gave him a chance many other organizations would not have given him and kept him around way longer than any other franchise would have. Maybe after 3 decades of the NFL he is burnt out and wants to do something different on Sunday. Marvin was on the competition committee and has seen how the sausage was made, he could be over the NFL. Also you clearly missed the part of the interview when complimented his former players and wished them the best...did you even listen to the interview or are u just mad for no good reason? The squawking head media wouldn't give the Bengals positive press unless they won back to back Super Bowls and a World Series. Even at that they would still be pimping the Browns, Patriots and Cowboys. Lets not forget our daily Aaron Rodgers update. Oh, and obviously the new LA and Vegas teams need promoting. Now if the Bengals moved to St Louis or San Diego.....

Only 8 current coaches have more and 3 playoff victories. Expecting a rookie HC with no experience as a HC to do something that no previous coach has done in the last 3 decades is not realistic. I thought Marvin should have been fired after 2015 playoff loss, but I still respect what he accomplished and refuse to minimize his achievements. Only 8 current coaches have more (than) 3 playoff victories. Never mind 3, we're talking about one, singular. Out of 7 attempts. You'd think he would have won at least one of those on accident given that many chances. Consistently unfocused, undisciplined, and unprepared teams. That falls squarely on the head coach. Has there ever been another HC to go 0/7 or worse in the postseason for the same team?
