Dennard, Williams, Redmond & Darius Phillips all went straight to the PUP list.

Billy Price endured a rocky rookie season in large part due to injuries. Let’s hope that won’t be the case this year, but it’s not off to the greatest of starts.

On Friday, the team placed Price, Noah Dawkins and Clark Harris on the Active/Non-Football Injury list. All three players will continue to count against the team’s roster limit and can be activated to practice as soon as they’re medically cleared.

The good news on Price is it sounds like a very minor issue that won’t keep him out long, according to Geoff Hobson.

Even so, Bengals fans will be uneasy after Price spent much of the 2018 offseason recovering from a torn biceps suffered at the NFL Scouting Combine. That came prior to Price being selected 21st overall in the 2018 NFL Draft after a standout career with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Price would eventually get medically cleared and started the first two regular-season games, only to suffer a foot injury that would sideline him for two months before returned to start the final eight games.

As for Harris, he’s the team’s primary long-snapper, so this will be something to monitor going forward. With him out, the Bengals signed another long-snapper in Dan Godsil on Thursday.

Dawkins is an undrafted free agent linebacker out of The Citadel.

Billy Price and his self induced boo boo makes me wonder about the boy being a bit fragile.

A little more information would be comforting.  Or not.

Same but.. meh.  It's an opportunity for Hopkins, is all.  I'm not convinced anyone penciled in as an OL starter is above replacement level anyway.  The one guy from last year who looked above average just retired.  If this team was serious about winning they would've brought in more competition for these guys.

Raider coverage on NFL: Burdock is a physical leader on this D. His team mates have a lot of respect for him.

As expected, glowing analysis. No mention of thuggery whatsoever.

As expected is right.  Now that he's no longer a threat to Shitsburgh he is miraculously redeemed.

The concussions are another issue, but good for him.

All right, men, let's go out there and

not get hurt.  Ayyyyyyyyyy!!!!

They're gonna be competitive!  They're gonna dig deep and participate!  For the contractually obligated 60 minutes of game time!  And if there's overtime, you better believe that they will remain on the field until it is over!! Because the Cincinnati Bengals are nothing if not an officially licensed franchise of the National Football League! (insert Howard Dean warglbargl scream here)
