CINCINNATI —

Cincinnati may be down on its luck with the Bengals, but apparently the love for football in general remains high.

WalletHub, a personal finance website, used its data to rank the best U.S. cities for football fans.

The site compared more than 200 cities using factors such as the number of NFL and college football teams, average ticket price for an NFL game and fan friendliness, WalletHub said.

All of those things considered, Cincinnati came up at No. 10 overall.

Not bad for a city with a frustrated NFL fan base. The Bengals finished their season 7-9 and sat out of the playoffs.

Cincinnati ranked even higher in the NFL stadium category. Paul Brown Stadium took the No. 4 spot for most accessible stadium in the league.

When it came to the “College Football” category, Cincinnati came in a bit lower, ranked 97th.
