Le Tigre
Not so glorious...St Thomas of Foxboro thwarting the Champs 24-10. The Hobo 14/20 116 1-1 NE defense not bad at all, actually.
Shebengal
I watched this game with hubby and the young man. For a while it was like watching the Bengals (Cleveland had turnovers on 3 successive plays.) Son is ready to get rid of Freddie Kitchens and was bitching about the lopsided refereeing (and it was shitty). Hubby is not sold on The Hobo. Le Tigre
Yeah, my North Coast relations are all-in on the Kill-Kitchens Brigade. This, after loudly proclaiming he was vastly superior to anything Bounty Hunter Williams was. Doesn't take long for those folks up there to turn on their erstwhile heroes. Yeah I was happy when they made Kitchens the coach. That strong finish last year was a mirage against shit teams. Thy then bought a shiny toy and forgot about their oline. Same ole Browns. They have 2 games against us, 2 against Pittspuke, Arizona, Miami, Baltiwhore (who they have already beaten), Buffalo and Denver (I think.) Le Tigre
The Champs are in Denver today to take on the Mules. The Hobo versus some guy who will fill in for another guy who used to play for the Real Browns and won a SB. Name escapes me.

Sloppy tackling, inability to cover a TE, inability to score TDs in the red zone, losing to a first time starting QB, it was like watching the Bengals. That came after Whitehead went off on Twitter. In one particular response to Browns TV and radio broadcaster Dustin Fox saying, “Whitehead’s tackling today is a joke,” Whitehead responded with a slur and told Fox not to “get smoked.” Whitehead’s Twitter account was suspended. Jermaine Whitehead goes off after loss According to Zac Jackson of the Athletic, Whitehead was still in uniform replying to tweets from Fox and others on Twitter who were critical of his play. A member of the Browns’ public relations team separated him from the media in the locker room after the game, and Whitehead did not speak to reporters, Jackson said. The Browns put out a statement saying Whitehead’s tweets were “totally unacceptable and highly inappropriate” and that the team didn’t condone the language or behavior. Whitehead became a starter The Browns picked up Whitehead last season after the Green Bay Packers waived him. Whitehead joined the Packers in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn. Whitehead was a starter this season but had little impact, with 41 tackles and one interception for the Browns. The Browns’ season has been very difficult. The team is 2-6 and has fallen far short of expectations. They lost on Sunday to the Denver Broncos and quarterback Brandon Allen, who was making his first career NFL appearance. The Browns didn’t need Whitehead’s Twitter meltdown on top of everything else. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: **** Strong candidate for redeeming? Would definitely come in with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. Could not be any worse than some of the woeful sad sacks we have in the defensive backfield now. He was picked up when Green Bay waived him for slapping an opposing player during a game. After what I saw yesterday, the last thing we need is another player who can't tackle. Pass. This is interesting to me. There seems to be a number of articles asking if Kitchens should be fired. We all know why Taylor won't be fired, but it is interesting to me that there are not the same kind of calls for Taylor to be canned (or maybe I'm just not seeing them). The expectations for the Browns was built up so they ere expected to be better than they are showing. For the Bengals, the expectations were low so Taylor is not really under performing. And everyone knows Mikey gives a lot of rope.
