The football team is just something he has to do to keep the Brown Family Trust operating. It's at best a sideline hobby and at worst an annoying distraction. His body language in that Ravens game says it all.

I've never seen Jerry Jones, another owner/GM, look like he's sleeping at a game. One of the most popular cliches that the talking heads spew is it all starts from the top, and this is what the Bengals franchise is working with:
T-Dub
His team is valued around $2 billion, he could sell it and keep right on doing whatever he wants but that would deprive him of a soapbox.

The Brown family will keep sucking until 2026. The PBS lease will be up and Katie will be 61. She has 2 girls and the move forward will be up to them or Katie's younger brother Paul. If team values really jump after legalized football betting will they want to keep doing what they are doing as owners getting paid $millions in salary every year? Will they stay as just owners and hand off operations to real football people or will the girls say screw it and sell the team and become Cincy's version of the Kardashians? TBH I think it's inevitable the team gets sold and moved somewhere more profitable, it's just a question of when.

|High School Harry|
The Cincinnati Bengals have activated cornerback Darqueze Dennard off of the Physically Unable to Perform list. Dennard joins the vacant 53-man roster spot left by offensive tackle Cordy Glenn, who has been suspended for Sunday’s game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars and will not count toward the 53-man roster. A sixth-year player in 2019, Dennard had spent Games 1-6 on PUP before returning to practice on Wednesday on a roster exemption. He was recovering from offseason knee surgery, which also kept him sidelined for all of training camp and the preseason. Dennard was originally was a first-round pick of the Bengals in 2014 by way of the Michigan State Spartans. He has played in 68 career games (19 starts), and has 214 tackles, three interceptions, three sacks, 17 pass defenses, two forced fumble and a fumble recovery. This is a much-needed addition for the Bengals, who will be without starting cornerbacks Dre Kirkpatrick and William Jackson III for several weeks due to injuries. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::; Are they desperate enough to play him? Is he ready even for spot duty? Has to be better than B.M. Webb and company.

T-Dub
^ Not even a little bit. I just wish we'd get rid of his protégé, too. Last thing we need is DreSwagYoloLookAtMe passing that attitude on to the next generation.

T-Dub
Giving DD Glenn's roster spot is telling, they must be planning on suspending him every week & cutting him at the end of the year. That or someone else on the injured list is heading to IR.

More likely they are trying to trade him to someone, anyone. If not they simply release him after the trade deadline.

What is the CBA standard for "hoes mad"? This shit is going to end up in arbitration or court regardless.

Yeah I wonder.. I assume the burden of proof is on the team but if their NFL-sanctioned doctors clear him (as they are no doub paid to do) and he refuses to practice, is that enough? It's a total sideshow regardless but hey, at least we're relevant again!
