Each Bengals defensive starter ran onto the field for the player introductions with a service member or veteran. Defensive end Carlos Dunlap got a surprise as his father, Carlos Dunlap Sr., was the veteran who ran out of the tunnel with him. On Instagram, Dunlap Jr. called it “surreal.” “Listen this was definitely an all time Bengal Moment for me despite the game of course,” he wrote. “But there is more to life than football. “Today though experiencing this with my Father who sacrificed, served and did what he had to do to make me the man that you all know today! Was surreal moment for me, I had no clue of this plan.”
PatternMaster
I had a chance to meet Dunlap Sr. a few years ago at TC. Very nice guy, glad Dunlap got an opportunity to make a lifetime memory with his dad.
