Comparing this example to a new media mock on the .com, the were six listed there that aren't here.

17. (LB) Patrick Queen (LSU)

20. Mekhi Becton (OT)

26. (RB) D'Andre Swift (UGa)

27. (LB) Zack Baun (Wis)

30.(WR) Brandon Aiyuk (ASU)

31. (CB) Jaylon Johnson (Utah)

* Wouldn't be interested in Swift, Aiyuk or Johnson, but would be in the other three.

@33., they have us taking Bama OLB/EDGE Terrell Lewis (6-6/260)

* He has the tools & the production and he would fill a need, but man, that injury history!  May still not be fully recovered from his most recent.  If not for injury he'd probably go mid first (or higher).  The Bengals need someone to help on D out of the gate, worth the risk?

Other possibles still available here:

Guard

Soloman Kinney (UGa)

Shane Lemieux (Oregon)

Jonah Jackson (tOSU)

Tackle

Trey Adams (Wash)

Tight End

Cole Kmet (ND)

Wide Receiver

Jalen Reagor (TCU)

Running Back

(None)

Quarterback

(None)

Nose/Defensive Tackle

Raekwon Davis (Bama)

Justin Madubuike (TAMU)

Linebacker

Jordyn Brooks (Texas Tech)
Cornerback

Damon Arnette (tOSU)

Cameron Dantzler (Miss St)

Safety

Kyle Dugger (Lenoir-Rhyne)

* I'd be more than fine with Lewis if I was reassured about his health outlook

* Otherwise, I think I'd go with one of Queen, Baun, Becton, Kinney, Arnette or Dantzler

* I really like Kmet, but I think I'd rather have a more premium position (although I might re-think that if there is a trade-down).

* Short of an insane  Ricky Williams-esque off, I'm taking Burrow and not interested in trading out of 1-1.  If it would give me another premium pick or able warm body to address additional need (and there wasn't someone there I couldn't possibly pass up), I'd consider trading down a bit at 2-1 (but not too far).

Too me it would be Queen...

Bengals have no depth there..

Vigil and Pratt and then what?

They basically have Pratt and I guess (with reduced emphasis on the LB position) maybe they could count Lawson toward one of the traditional six LB slots).  I believe Vigil is an UFA, so it's not a lock he's back.  Wouldn't mind them bringing him back, but I wouldn't do so at starter's money or counting on him as a guaranteed starter.  He could be useful in passing packages and could help with continuity.  If he's not back, I think they'd need to find a journeyman-type or mid-rounder to fill his slot.

In my mind, the Bengals have too many needs fill them via the draft.  I believe it would lighten up the off season load a great deal if they signed a solid (if not spectacular) UFA LB.  Knowing the Bengals, Littleton is a pipe dream, but Schobert or Martinez would fit nicely.  Who knows, maybe Mikey & Katie are tired enough of being doormats and they'll emulate Castellini with the Reds and throw the fanbase a FA bone or two (a LB and an OL in FA would be amazing, but it's the Bengals).

Let's say, Pratt, Vigil & Schobert make up half the LB room.  They will still need the draft to fill at least one LB slot.  I believe there's a good chance that OL & LB could both fill a need and be BPA's at 33.  They might decide that someone like Bectin  to eventually replace hart could be too good to pass up if he's there, but I think it will be easier to find at @ 65 than a LB of similar value.  I think at theis point, I'd be thrilled with Patrick Queen or Terrell Lewis is the 2nd pick.  I would not be shocked in the least though if they end up trading down from 33 for another premium pick (a fourth or better.

That leaves one or two open LB berths (depending on how they classify Lawson).  One spot needs to be a versatile guy who can back multiple spots and excel on special teams.  A vet FA a step  As for down from a Schobert-level guy or a mid-round pick could work.  If another LB is needed & for depth they need to stock up on niche UDFA's & waiver wire pick ups.

Littleton / Schobert

Pratt

Vigil

Queen / Lewis

Journeyman FA / Waiver Pickup

Lawson (or) Mid-Late Rd. Draft Pick / Holdover / UDFA utility guy & Special Teams ace

would be a solid upgrade of the group, IMO.  Question is, are the Bengals "Brain Trust" up to it?

* Aniother way to improve LB might be a solid-tackling hybrid LB / safety guy for pass defense packages

* Not necessarily saying they see Lawson as a LB, but would they go light at LB to carry an extra DL?

Well?

First off your draft is spot on imo..

Id take Queen.

If Shenault is on the board as well id go with him..

No matter how fans spin what they could do at linebacker Id take Quern and team him with Pratt...Vigil could backup...

Id like to see him in Bengal stripes as well but i believe Jason is correct about the Saints grabbing him to team with Thomas..

Ted Ginn isnt the answer anymore...

Ge-off Speaks ...

For the Bengals second pick, 33rd overall, Hobson has the Bengals taking edge Terrell Lewis from Alabama.

Here’s what he says:

We come down on the 6-5, 260-pound Lewis even though he’s played 26 games and missed most of two seasons with injuries. But he was healthy at the Senior Bowl when the Bengals coached him, so they’ll have more than a good idea if he can fit into their 3-4 hybrid as an edge rusher and some-time linebacker.

He certainly has the No. 1 ability they seek, which is disrupting the pass game on the rush. He’s got eye-catching athleticism and traits you need to get to the passer and Lewis reportedly developed some moves that made him effective going inside and outside. He appears to have one of those high ceilings because he’s so athletic and he’s got a frame that’s going to fill out. When he was healthy his final season he had six sacks and 11.5 tackles for losses and led Bama with 16 quarterback pressures.

*** "High Ceiling + Injuries = Bengal For Sure.

Maybe third or fourth round but...

Cincinnati — LSU quarterback Joe Burrow didn't want to be presumptuous when talking about being the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, but everyone in the NFL right now believes he will be the pick. The excitement for Cincinnati starts in Round 2, where the team owns pick No. 33 overall. The buzz in Indianapolis is that the Bengals will be looking at wide receivers in a loaded draft class at the position.

To me you've got to be looking at LB or WR. Henry Ruggs ran a 4.27 yesterday so, the Bengals are now taking him first overall. I'm also never against linemen on both sides of the ball. I know the draft is a crap shoot regardless but please no projects. Bengals are fucking famous for guys who look good in shorts and/or have potential and/or are coming off major injuries. Just say no.
