So we’re supposed to be counting on a guy that’s barely played in two years? And even if he manages to be decent this year he’s only here for 2020, not beyond. Then who steps into that role, John Ross?? I know everyone wants OL and LB but it’s pretty naive to think that the need at WR isn’t right there with them.

Definitely need a WR in the first 3 rds IMO, you put your chips an a QB#1 you protect him and give him options.

I believe it comes down to LB WR OL at 2 and 3...

Which combo who knows...

Definate priorities to strengthen the team..

yep and OK with top picks at each positions in those rounds. This should be an easy draft if we don't get stupid with what falls to us.

Hate having the bottom wins in the league but they definately compensate them by having First pick in each round..

Its like having a late pick in each round to build on..

Be smart with it!

They'll keep Price for 2 more years. He's on his rookie deal and not expensive for a backup C/G.

I thiught since Price was on a first round pick that his salary would be higher as a rook...

I loked Price at OSU...I thought he had all in intagibles to be a good lineman except one thing......31 inch arms...You have to be extremely quick outta the gate to beat your man to the initial punch..

Sooo veing he had foot problems makes his play bad..really bad..

He and Jordan gave up 55 pressues and 9 sacks last yr at LG...

Let him Go...

Whit is no longer available.  He signed a 1 year with the Rams a few days ago.

He wouldn't come here for the crumbs we would offer but I havent seen anything about Whit resigning with the Rams yet. I read speculation but no official word.

Well damn...

Maybe Miller back at RG and still draft

a very promising RT in Wilson..

Need another good backup guard in this scenario..

Theyll probably sign Redmond on the cheap for that spot..

It's second hand, but a source I trust.

I can believe it.

Why not stay on a winning team unless Mike himself asked him back to greatly improve the line for this new era...

Hell 2 yrs at guard..

Hed be worth it....

I'm wondering if a stop gap RT or RG may be in the cards. A Jason Peters, Whitworth or Demar Dotson type.  Kelvin Beachum and Daryl Williams appear to be two of the better slightly longer term upgrades even though they aren't overly exciting.

Im thinking thats what they have right now in the Miller-Hart combo..

Jesus when you have a combo rating of 55 on the right side wuth these two you Have to upgrade even short term..

John Miller Cut

Sounds like we're going to have a new RG and LT at the very least next year. Curious how they fill the spot.

I find it interesting that we are letting guys go at this rate.

Don't get me wrong, I like the moves so far, but, like the signings, it seems out of character for us - which is a great thing.

Seems to me that once we signed guys, we'd hold onto them through thick and thin.

Maybe we are changing course.

My hope is that this has a lot to do with Zac being hired but who knows. I'm really hoping these signings work out because last time the Bengals stepped out like this they got burned and it took us this long to seem them try it again.

Thuney was tagged so he's getting 15 mil. I'd be ok with trading for Thuney if we sign him to a long term deal in the 11-12 mil per year range, ie top guard money. But it's hard to see Mike Brown paying 15 mil for a guard. Jackson costs over 9 mil so even that might be a stretch.
