Anybody have the OL grades yet?

For the season?

I can give you a personal observation by watching on the tube..

I do watch alot of line play..

Left to right.

B..D..C..C..C

Sample..C÷..

They were average which we aren't accustomed too but they gave JB and Mixon some time and openings..

All JB and his weapons need is a C rating..

Ted’s Film Room: The Browns quarter-season MVP is Bill Callahan

Gee, get a good OL coach and suddendly the OL is better...

You realize the Browns had a projected top ten oline before the season..

He did coach up Wyatt Teller whos current pff is around 91!!

Not knocking ole Bill but the talent was there for him ..

I believe the Oline will insert Adenijji at LG this wek..

Jordan hasnt made progress..

Id put him at LG to work that side with Jonah wholl help him more than Hart .

Let Redmond stay at RG..

So far hes been up then down..

Hopefully we see up this week..

Why do expect any offensive lineman to look good week in and week out with this coaching staff... through 20 games I've haven't seen any progression of any player on this team, especially on the offensive line.

I haven’t seen anyone on the OL get better that’s for sure but there are certainly other guys on the team that have shown improvement....Hubbard, Bates, Phillips...Sample is definitely getting better. Even Boyd is playing at a higher level, IMO...those are a few examples. The two young LBs are definitely getting better. I feel like Jonah will be playing at a high level as the season progresses.....just sayin.

Ive allmost thrown my hands up with these O-Stooges called a line...

Adenijji probably isnt quite ready but noone outside of Jonah seems to be anyway..

Give the kid a shot at LG ..

Jordan is looking like a big bust..

Jonah still has looked serviceable at best to me, I've yet to see anything special and definitely nothing that would validate being an 11th overall draft pick.

A serviceable left tackle is ok for now.  He will only get better.

Yeah that'd be my hope as well, but for someone drafted that high I would've hoped to see him flash something special, go off on someone a little or do something that looks more than average athletically,
you get the idea.

edit Not even a knock on Williams, it's not like he drafted himself.  Think I said before that an ok-ish LT is great considering the state of the OL.  Just thought we were getting more than that at the time. Goes to show once again that this team is just throwing darts when it comes to grading OL talent.

but if we pick high enough to get the kid out of Oregon then you do it and move Jonah to the right side.

Id leave Jonah at LT..hell be good eventually.. Hes decent now considering hes all they have left of center!!

Put big Sewell at RT ..not only pass protect but move people in run game..

Jordan was a 4th rounder. He is a serviceable backup. He is better than Billy Price.

SF ..did you say hes better than Bilky Price??

More than likely so are you!!.. 😎

LOL, I only wish I had signed the $9.15mil guaranteed contract like Price did!!  Seriously, Jordan isn’t a bad backup, Price is garbage.

Ya know trying to formulate an effective Oline is a bit like scrabble..

Instead of letters you have players..

Its amazing how many combinations

you can come up with..

You can have fun with it and put guards at tackles and. vice versa..

Heres a concoction i came up with...

LT Williams..

LG.Adenijji

C.. Hopkins

RG Hart

RT Johnson..

How about this.

LT Johnson

LG Williams

C.Hopkins

RG Hart

RT..Jordan

Bout to get cute with it..

Adenijji - we have no idea if this guy is any good let alone ready; we only have the word of the OL coach

IC. Who looks "Ready" on this line except Jonah?

To Hell with Turner opinions.

Play the kid to see if he has Anything to offer more than what the others before him have "busted. at"..
