Hopefully Spain plays well and becomes tone of our starting guards..Maybe Finney will play better now that he's out of Seattle..

Maybe...hell there isnt one guard on this team i would miss if gone..None!

XSF is a bandaide.

Jordan may just be a decent Backup..

These two may have some promise..Play em soon..lets see..

Interesting perspective from Cincy Jungle.

Perhaps too optimistic for Finney, but interesting none the less.

Billy Price

One of the last people you’d think would be hurt by Dunlap being traded was an offensive lineman, but that’s exactly what happened to Billy Price. The Bengals were able to get center B.J. Finney from the Seahawks, and while he was a backup, he was a solid player for the Stealers during his four-year career there, including 13 starts.

To put it bluntly, Finney was just better in Pittsburgh than Price has ever been in Cincinnati. Will that continue with a new coaching staff for Finney remains to be seen, but this trade definitely puts Price in danger of falling further down the depth chart and eventually out of Cincinnati.

Trey Hopkins

While Finney is more likely to be a backup, it’s not out of the question he eventually unseats Trey Hopkins as the starter. Hopkins has been an average-to-below-average starter for the Bengals for three years at center, and Finney played well enough in Pittsburgh that it wouldn’t be a shocker to see him become a slight upgrade over Hopkins.

Making matters worse for Hopkins is he has a concussion, and it’s unclear how long he’ll be out. The good news for him is NFL COVID-19 protocols will prevent Finney from playing this week against the Titans. But he will get to practice with the Bengals during their Week 9 bye before ironically facing the Stealers in Week 10.

Price wasn’t going to unseat Hopkins, but there’s a chance Finney eventually can.

He has been. Tough for one player to cover 3 holes however. Imagine how good he could be if they’d just put two competent players inside with him..

Feel the same about Jonah.  What is basically a redshirt rookie playing under a certified dipshit OL coach running the worst unit in the league can't be helping his development.

Well Michael Jordan played the game of his life against Cleveland last Sunday so hopefully that's a sign of things to come.

Far too many times with this team over the last long while we see these types of players that play well sporadically and the team keeps relying on them as if they are about to play at that level all the time - but they don't.

Hart has 1 good game out of 5 and the team takes that one game and projects it for a season. Just seems to be our MO

Bobby Hart has had a decent season..

Michael Jordan had the One Good Game last week..

If thats a turning point for him im all in.

Big Spain is coming here to Start at one of the interior spots soon.

Its up to XSF or Jordan who he replaces..

XSF can pass block ..Jordan is a liability at it so far..

Another factor to their play is both will play alongside our new tackles (Adenijji and Fred) against the Titans..

It should make for an interesting day

watching any semblance of cohesiveness..

Wouldnt it be something if they came together as a unit Sunday?

For JBs sake U hope so.

Williams at LT, Jordan at LG, Hopkins at C, Spain at RG, Johnson at RT for next season as of now..Players are young and continue to develop so they got to be better next season..or go sign a RT and draft another lineman

Man as much as I want to improve that OL in the draft, I would absolutely kill to get a difference-maker in the front 7 on defense. One guy that scares the shit out of every OC in the league. When is the last time we’ve had that here? Not sure if that guy even exists at this point but they're trending toward the D needing a lot more help than the O when it’s all said and done, IMO..

Why do they have to be better? Other than Williams, the rest are a raving band of average to below average inconsistent wann-a-bees. I think we would all like to see a new OL coach next season but regardless if they go to camp again with the 'we like where we are' it will be another failure.

The KEY to young players progressing is good coaching and that needs to be addressed first (in more than the OL area).
