Bengals released CB Dre Kirkpatrick.

This was expected following the additions of Trae Waynes and slot CB Mackenzie Alexander in free agency. A six-game starter in '19 before being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, Kirkpatrick's release saves the team $8.29 million against their books this upcoming season. The former first-round pick ends his tenure in Cincinnati with 10 interceptions and 65 deflections across 99 appearances (including 67 starts) under his belt. He'll likely land as competition in nickel packages elsewhere prior to the draft.

Yep, took his game to the office.

That's cause he knows he fittin' to get a pay cut.

I mean, when the team takes not one, not two, but three cornerbacks (plus a safety) in free agency, you gotta know you're toast.

Besides, he should be used to that feeling.

Another 1st round defender who achieved nothing of greatness during his Bengal career.  Zero All-Pros, zero times mentioned as a game changer

That's the story of this franchise

On one size, you have Collinsworth, Munoz, Eddie Brown, Palmer, Green, Willie Anderson

Bengal 1st round picks on D are a list of failures:

Big Fatty

Reinard Wilson

Takeo Spikes

Justin Smith (did very little as a Bengal)

Keith Cry Me a Rivers

Darquezz Denard

Leon Hall

Extensions for Mixon and WJIII?

Longer term contract for A.J. Green?

Looking at Dre and Jackson's pff

Dre has been a 60 last three yrs..

Jacson has gone from 90 as a rook to 71

And 53 last year..

How do you compensate him if you even want to keep him?

AJ is on a prove it yr being franchised ..

They may sign Mixon to an extension

but how long and how much?

Id go 3yr 8.5 mil a year on him..that wouldnta take him to around the 5th highest in the league...

Big Question!!!!

HOW can they justify making Gio the 12Th highest back at 5.1???

51 rating...

50 touches or so??

id release him as well....
