Mock Draft Simulators

Recommended Posts

1: R1P1 QB JOE BURROW LSU

33: R2P1 OT ISAIAH WILSON GEORGIA

65: R3P1 LB MALIK HARRISON OHIO STATE

107: R4P1 CB TROY PRIDE JR. NOTRE DAME

147: R5P1 G NETANE MUTI FRESNO STATE

Seriously starting to buy into Wilson at 33. I'm not even convinced he makes it that far to be honest.

I would rather have a WR there myself, but that the simulator was cruel - so I took Murray.

Here is one I just ran on PFF where I did one trade back:

1. Burrow, QB, LSU

2. Pittman, WR, USC (traded back to 45)

3. Hunt, G, Louisiana

4. Wilson, LB, Wyoming

4. Edwards, WR, SC

5. S. Charles, OT, LSU

6. Bachie, LB, MSU

7. A. Robinson, Edge, Syracuse

If i couldnt draft Isaiah at 2 Id go for this draft!

He's generally there at 65 on the sims I use - but not on this one...

Here's a slightly different mock from the usual from PFF - I did two trade backs, ended up selecting:

1. Burrow, QB, LSU
2. Pittman, WR, USC (traded back to 46)
3. Brooks, LB, TT (traded back to 71)
3b. Lewis, OG, LSU (picked up pick 83)
4. Greenard, ED, Fla (kept our pick in 4th at 107)
4b. Moss, RB, Fla (pick 112 added from tradeback - I couldn't resist the value)
4c. Edwards, WR, South Carolina (pick 118 added from tradeback)
5. Agim, DL, aTm
6. Weaver, LB, Cal
7. Steele, OT, TT

That one was fun. Would have liked another OL earlier than seventh but board didn't fall right.

Sign me up for any of them.

On a side note...is Will Gay ever not there at 65 regardless of what draft you use?

I've only seen a few times where he wasn't and at least two of those times he went to the Ravens I think.

Love the idea of Gay at backer for us...

If hes gone in round three Jordan Brooks of Texas Tech seems like a possibiliy along with Malik Harrison..

Brooks 40 time was very goiod..hes got some lateral abillty but was never asked to drop in coverage.

Harrison us more stout..not sure he could cover either ..

Gay is all over the place...hes my frontrunner at backer..

If Isaiah is gone at 2 then id take Gay at 2 and oline at three..

I will one better you, lol, though you might not agree with my draft on First Pick. I traded away next year's first and this year's third on a dropping player that I thought we needed immensely. To offset that, I traded down in the second and gained my 3rd back. Anyway...tell me what you think.

Round 1 Pick 1: Joe Burrow, QB, LSU (A+)
Round 1 Pick 18 (MIA): Isaiah Simmons, OLB/ILB, Clemson (A+)
Round 2 Pick 10 (JAX): Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia (A-)
Round 3 Pick 9 (JAX): Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC (A)
Round 4 Pick 1: Damien Lewis, OG, LSU (A+)
Round 5 Pick 1: Javaris Davis, CB, Auburn (A+)
Round 6 Pick 1: Quez Watkins, WR, So. Miss (A+)
Round 7 Pick 1: Benito Jones, DT, Ole Miss (A+)

Um, yes please!

Can't imagine Simmons making it to 18 in that scenario though.

Also, even though I took him in the 3rd as well, I don't really think Pittman makes it past 50.

You're starting to warm up to Wilson a little, huh?

Sure, I have nothing better to do, and if the height of the bar is outperforming Duke....fuck, I've got this. Afterall, I have had better ideas than him in about 4 of the last 5 drafts on record, so yeah.
