So far I have a particular interest in Conley and Poole. We wanted Poole 2 years ago and he still has been pretty good.  I like that Conley is big fast and can run block. I think he can be a cheap 3rd receiver to go with Tate and a 4th rounder. We need pass rushers and Basham and Smoot aren't impactful but both had some production.

Falcons......

I love Treadwell's fit with Burrow but I am not sure he rounds out the roster like we want.

Wetzel played for Pollack in Dallas

I had been thinking draft a safety but it's becoming clear that signing a FA safety as the 3-4 guy will make more sense. The Free Agency group will be saturated.

Margus has the best stats of the DT's.

Bring him back.

He's a disrupter.

Would be great pushing O linemen around for

Parsons to fill and finish.

Further good news: He sealed the Bengals victory over the Texans recovering Hubbard's strip sack fumble.

Bad news: he cost us the third pick in the draft by recovering Sam Hubbard's strip sack fumble vs the Texans.

Last game v the Ravens deflected two consecutive Lemur Jackson passes at the line one for an interception.

Perhaps the Bengals star of a suck game.

I'd target Erickson, Lawson, & WJ3.  I see the rest as around replacement level at best.  We could get better in a lot of different areas with 2nd or even 3rd tier guys if they're willing to spread the money around some in FA.

Generally speaking I think they put too much stock in familiarity - or maybe that's just laziness.  Either way I would put more emphasis on creating competition at every spot & rewarding guys who show up every week.  Absolutely hate this glass menagerie shit where we bring back some dude that's been injured the past few years and then try to coddle them through training camp.  If you're afraid of them getting hit it's time to move on.

Too often they sign one guy and then move on. They need to hedge things more.

Yeah even more so when the guy has missed a lot of time already from injuries.

And is your LT.

And you're bringing back a franchise QB from a season-ending knee injury.

Sewell isn't enough.

It should be like college football. You know guys will transfer, stink, get injured---just keep getting good players.

I realized I was doing this wrong. We still have time to pretend to be GM and scout guys still playing. Will that said I am going to start doing the remaining 8 playoff teams. Rams first because of the obvious connection to Taylor

This group is full of possibilities. The Rams are in cap trouble so some guys will be moving on. The ones that standout most to me are Blythe and Fox.

Blythe starter at RG for the Rams in 2018 when Taylor was there and played well. He played C this year and played well again.

Fox seems to be a mix between a DT/DE and he had 6 sacks this year.

Guys who might get paid a bit more, Leonard Floyd and Ex-Bengal Troy Hill.

Paul Dehner has mentioned Josh Reynolds as a possibility at WR. His speed doesn't seem to be what we need at all.

In watching that game it seemed clear to me they heaped praise on those non-Aaron-Donald DTs like they're superstars but it seemed fairly obvious that once Donald was out with injury they looked a lot more "normal".  Just like in Geno's heyday the other DL are really benefiting a lot being beside a serious disruptor.  With that said, Fox looks "decent".

I thought Floyd looked excellent, I'd expect he'll get paid handsomely.

Ngakoue might be the best pass rusher on the market but he has been on 3 teams in 5 months and there is something about him where teams don't want to invest.

There are 4 other edge guys all who could be nice adds.

I have always loved Derek Wolfe. His run stuffing numbers are fantastic.

DJ Fluker is an interesting guy for the right side of the line.

@MichaelWeston I know I've asked before but the green highlighting (and any other colors you use) what does it signify?

Sorry, the Green here is just so I note that I did that team already. I started doing position by position with Tackle and then realized team by team would be much smarter.

Been focusing on Chris Conley a bunch for that 3rd WR spot. Great speed (at least when he ran the 40 before the NFL). Willing blocker. Can play all over the field https://www.rotowire.com/football/player.php?id=10210. Salary was reasonable "Chris Conley signed a 2 year, $4,595,000 contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, including a $1,000,000 signing bonus, $1,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $2,297,500. In 2020, Conley will earn a base salary of $2,275,000, a roster bonus of $445,000, a workout bonus of $50,000 and a incentive bonus of $475,000, while carrying a cap hit of $3,745,000 and a dead cap value of $2,825,000." Production was good. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/2578533/chris-conley Seems like a good locker room guy based off lower vids. Can sign him to be in the mix for the 3rd WR spot with Tate and a Rookie (Here is who I got in the 4th round recently https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/dazz-newsome/oy54VkLkSg

I think I would be happy with this.

WR Higgins 24 Tate 22 Thomas 21 UDFA     3
WR Chris Conley Rd 4 Irwin UDFA     2
WR Boyd 24 Morgan 21 Washington       2

Fluorescent Green: Free Agent

Fluorescent Blue: Draft Pick

Red: IR 2020

Blue: UFA 2021

Green: RFA 2021

Gray: Futures Contracts

It feels like maybe we can do better than that but I want to see more snaps for Tate, Morgan is a stud on teams and was coached by Walters in college, Conley I think is maybe a perfect cheap 3rd WR for a Great QB. 4th Rd WR makes a ton of sense to me because they always fall.

I would take a good look at Marvin Jones on a two to three year deal. Then if Sewell is gone we can comfortable trade back to grab one of several mid round OL and the go for another like Leatherwood who may fall to #28. We would have the WR corps protected against injury and could go many different directions with the other 2nd round picks.

Marvin Jones is still an ideal 2 receiver.

Hes played his whole career on the left side..

I beieve Higgins is ready to take over Greens spot on the right so it looks like a good fit..

Now to the money...

Id go 2 yrs at his age..30...

How much his agents asks is the question..

There are many spots all over this team to upgrade..

Just edited...

Jones is in the range if 9.5 mil as a FA...

Bengals will pass on him Im sure...
