I have a better listing for you:

Bengals OL depth chart today:

LT:   Jonah Williams (injured) --- Hakeem Adeniji ---- Fred Johnson

LG:  Michael Jordan

C :   Trey Hopkins (injured) --- Billy Price

RG:  Xavier Su'a-Filo --- Keaton Sutherland

RT:  Rielly Reiff --- Hakeem Adeniji

If you think Joe Burrow is going to throw a single pass beyond 20 yards behind that line - to *anybody*, even a #5 pick - you gotta put down the controller, the crack pipe, step away from Madden, and remember Joe on the ground screaming in agony as Michael Jordan (our only current LG) looked on in confusion and bewilderment.

FIX THE LINE WITH ALL RESOURCES

And yes, I get the idea of "picking the best player that Mike Brown is likely to pick" but why as a Bengal fan would you want to exist in such a self-hating masochistic ego-death as to live in Mike Brown's head?

This post is what you call game, set and match. Anyone who reads this and talks about a WR at #5 is the kind of fan Mike Brown loves. A jersey buyer. Offensive line in Round Two? Probably, after taking offensive line in Round One first.

Go back and watch the beating Joe Burrow took last season. Man.

There will be a G signed in FA better than Jordan and XSO before March ends.

While I hope you're right, let's keep in mind "better than Jordan" is the lowest of low bars, and XSO was "passable" when he wasn't hurt (the real concern I have with him).

Did you have someone specific in mind?  Nobody I've seen mentioned changes my mind about OL as first priority at the draft.  I don't see how anyone can look at my listing and not be thinking "we need at least three new rotation-to-starter-capable OL before the first snap of 2021".  The fact that we have a scrub in a starting position but also *no depth behind anyone* is alarming to say the least.

My ideas and hope:

The Bengals next best signing would be either Andrew Blythe (no more than $4.5M for one season or $8M for two) or Austin Reiter (move Hopkins to G with Reiter playing C and pay no more than $8M for Reiter for one season or $22M for three...his market value is $32M for three per spotrac).

Both have great value.  Reiter would be the best move, thus he costs more, but Reiter solves two problems with Hudson being moved to G and Reiter upgrading the C position quite a bit.

Based on what I think they will do.  They could sign the guy they had in today, but only for $1.5M or $2M, but I don't see the point as Easton isn't much better than Jordan.   They could try for a better player in Blythe at $4-5M.  He's affordable and would be a great opportunity to make the Guards better pushing everyone down a notch.

Yeah, I don't see Easton, a guy that doesn't grade out better than the current dross.  If they can't add a FA guard that is a sizeable upgrade over the current bunch, go Edge &/or a DT that can push the pocket, then go with a tackle in Rd 1 and a solid interior OL in Rd 2 or Rd 3.

Put the effort (& money) into Aldon Smith or Houston or a WR/TE or DB and open up the draft.

No one is looking at Chase as a reach at 5. Better chance actually that someone takes him in the top 3.
A lot of guys that do this stuff for a living and are right more often than they’re wrong, grade Chase on the same level as AJ and Julio Jones. Until they get in the league and play though, what else do we have to go by other than them and some scattered college film?

Yeah that statement was a bit of a head-scratcher for me too.
