Former Bengals target and Joe Burrow teammate Thaddeus Moss waived by Washington

Thaddeus Moss and the Cincinnati Bengals can be used in the same sentence again.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Washington just waived Moss, an undrafted free agent last year who missed all of his rookie season due to injury.

Moss was a hot topic around here after the 2020 draft because he was a friend of Burrow’s during LSU’s title run, never mind one of his favorite targets on the field.

The Bengals indeed put in a call on Moss before he signed with Washington.

Moss fell out of the draft at least in part due to those injury concerns. But he’s an interesting target the Bengals could add now even before the draft to give them more chances at finding steady contributors in the offense — or quality depth at worst.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Let's see if they bring him in to kick the tires.  But not too hard.  Maybe not worthy of The Precinct but the hot slaw at Ron's Roost ain't bad.

Training camp fodder.   Maybe he sticks, maybe he doesn’t, but we need bodies there especially with CJ coming off of an injury that normally takes 24 months to get back to 100% (at least in basketball that’s the timeframe — KD is challenging that with how he’s playing year 1 of coming back).

KD could score 30 with his shot from a wheelchair..

I see no lies here.  As a Lakers fan that scares me if we get out of the West.

Fully healthy Laker squad probably..

If not the Clippers are coming..

Brooklyn is loaded with talent ..

We better stop the NBA stuff here..

Next will be whos the best bowler ever!!

Thaddeus Moss is a decent pick up. He's a great blocker, a capable special teams player and can at least catch the ball a bit. He essentially could replace Cethan Carter. The fact that he and JB can play wet willy again is an added bonus.

 Worth a shot pickup...

Lil fire hydrant at 6'2 250..

Swansea sitting in the 4th slot in Championship...with a very real shot at getting promotion to the Premier League.

OK...informational purposes only. 😀

Probably better than that Shrek guy

Much better blocker...hes good at it.

Think they look at Schreck as a receiver type.He might be better than Shrek at that too.

Edited this..

This may be a smart pickup for their offense..

Hes a grinder..

He used to take out mlbs on passing downs at LSU alot..

Plus JB knows his game to maximize his abilities..

I think Moss may have a decent shot at sticking and contributing if healthy.

Carter is gone and I think Uzo may be on the way out, too.

Getting to the point where he has more wear on his tires than Mike Brown's retreads on the Lumina.

Coming off injury and pricey; not worth the bang for the buck.

Nice economical pick up if healthy.  A Mikey kind of guy.

Swansea wins again...jumps to 3rd in the Championship table!

Tom Daugherty is currently 3rd on the PBA tour but he has been on fire lately.  He has a shot at the 2021 championship.
