Very well could be right.

If we have to, over the long term, commit more cap dollars to the offense than to the defense, the only way we could possibly have a 'good enough' D is to have a DC like Zimmer who can make due with lesser players.

Clueless Lou is like the Bobbie Hart to Zimmer being Willie Anderson.

I'd say that puts us in 8-8 territory with an outside shot at a wild card, yeah.

Like you I have no faith in Anarumo & expect poor defense will often undo any heroics from Burrow and friends.

Beyond that I think all of ZT's big talk about changing the franchise culture falls flat on its face when you win 6 games in 2 years.  He hasn't changed jack diddly shit at that level.

Looking at the schedule I'm thinking somewhere between 8-8 to 10-6 with a first round playoff loss.

Not where I want to be but a positive step forward.

If Lou's D plays shitty after spending all that money then Lou can go, maybe we'll get lucky and Zimmer be let go and he can come back to be the D coord again?

First season = 2 wins

Second season = 4 wins

Depending on how you look at it, we are increasing our win total by two each year or doubling it. Soooo 6 vs 8 wins this upcoming year. Aw shoot, I'll split the difference and go with 7 wins lol.

IIRC that's right where Vegas has the O/U

I could see OL v DL being a coin flip at 38 to be honest. Lets not forget that the defense was just as bad as the OL was last year. Basham would represent good value where they're sitting IMO.

I agree my friend..

Boogie Basham would be a good pick ..

I like Jenkins and Dickerson but both have had injury problems especially Dickerson..

Red flags for both but damn good players If healthy..

Creed Humphreys 31.5 arms are a concern...hes a tough and smart player though..

Walker Little hasnt played since 2018!

Im hoping they draft Jaylen Twyman as a 3tech in round 5..

Schooled by Aaron Donald..

Just hope they did their due diligence on these linemen and get the best possible player..

I’m with ya brother 🍻

I should have added OT Spencer Brown on that list..

6'8 311lbs 34.75" length..as athletic as Any OT in the draft..

With a year of training with Coach Pollack and Jonah and Reiff in place he could develope into a very good OT...

May be a reach at 2 but definately

a good pick in round 3...if he lasts till then..

I disagree..theyve spent alot of money to upgrade positions of need past 2 yrs..

The dline has solid starters..could allways use another edge rusher for rotation..

Backers are a concern but Wilson and Gaither are good prospects with a bit of seasoning now...

Dbackfield has speed and depth..

What are they missing by IC Deads standards??

Woah, hey, can they do that?  Just replace a bad OL in one offseason?  Not cool, San Diego Los Angeles Inglewood

He is my number one on my list right now. I would trade up.

Lou doesn't look so clueless now that he has good players.

she would be a week or so from dropping the frog now.

Time to move on. It's all good.
