Lap seems to think it's a broken wrist that they will do surgery and cast him up but he should be able to play with the cast by the opener.

Thanks.  I've only seen the following article:

Wow!  I wonder if/when we'll hear more info about this development.  Last I was aware it was a wrist injury and he was hopeful for opening day.  WTF?

Arguably one of the brightest spotlight players in preseason goes down to what could be season ending.  Bengals luck for sure.  FMR indeed.

I don’t think he will be out for the year (according to many ‘specialists’ on social media)

Anyone on the board torn their Menicus

LOL

You realize these are the Bengals.

AJ Green was supposed to be out for 4 weeks.  How did that work out?

Fwiw - there are two kinds of meniscus procedures- one with a quicker recovery and one with a much longer recovery. Grizzlies lost JJJ for nine months on his because they opted for the longer recovery time procedure because that is the one given his young age was the one most likely to not recur. The shorter recovery procedure would have left him more likely to have re-injuries or recurring problems. Dunno if that is what bengals are sifting through here but maybe a factor.

Dad, how can a player go out with an injured wrist, be

expected back in a couple weeks and go on season

ending IR with a knee?
