Communication issue + Zimmer is still a fucking genius at designing pressures.

It is one of the reasons I was so very fine w/ going with Spain and XSF rather than Carmen or Smith out of the chute. The rookies should be watching that and learning, ideally.

FWIW Taylor did address this in his presser.

Basic premise:  What you'd expect - he figures it would have put a dagger in the Vikings.  Problem is, we were up 21-0 on the Colts last year and blew it HARD.  So 21 points is historically nothing for us with Taylor.  Sure, yeah, he's confident in his team, yada yada - it's football.  As some were pointing out in this thread, metrics do not take into account MOMENTUM.  We had it, Taylor killed it, simple as that.  He also said he still thinks it was the right move but the wrong play call.  Says he should have called the same one they ran in OT that went to Uzomah.

Actually between him, Joe and Chase talking about that one play in their respective pressers the Bengals are going to have to throw it out 😄.  Every team will assume it's our go-to on 4th or even 3rd and short now.

This is why Taylor is full of crapola and no one in our wimpy media called him on it. Getting a first down on your own 30 some yard line in the 3rd quarter doesn't put anyone away. It lets you run 3 more plays. That's it

Were I in press row, my question to ZT:

How does gaining a first down on your own 30 with a quarter and a half to go put any team away?

Us Bengal fans lament the lack of immediate contribution from our draft picks. Well, without the contributions of Case and McPherson, they don't win that game. No QB pressures from either T position. That means after one game, the contributions of Chase>Penei Sewell

How bout the Big Q..

If he received a 62 pb grade what was his rb grade to have an overall 79.7 overall?

Im thinking close to 90..

Mixon ran with a vengeance and Q was

making the way for him..

Outside of Hopkins the line  was doing their job very well..

 Coach Pollack had them pumped...
