She posted on the old Insiders site.  I think she was on Football Huddles as well.

Don't remember Bob on the Insiders site.  But "MikeBrown" showed up and a few people believed that it was him...

That's a long time ago.  Some funny folks on that board.

Brat's son used to post here too, he had some handle that had something to do with Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged if I remember right.

SIS was also on the old Jungle board with MOC and Guru aka Michael Weston.

She was a fairly regular at the Jungle tailgates at EZ Russ's print shop parking lot.

Nice lady, I consider her a friend and like her a lot.

(yes, a very attractive redhead)

Lippencott was still with the team then and his son posted on that board.  Not well received.

Andy Fuhrman posted there for awhile, too, until people started figuring out who he was.  He left.

Seriously?? I didn't know that - guessing he was the apologist...

Was Andy Fuhrman hated there in Cincy?

Shayne Graham's sister was BengalSIS here back in the day:  https://forum.go-bengals.com/index.php?/profile/123-bengalsis/

Somewhere, some cloud backup still has her avatar picture I did for her way back in the olden times.

The Good

Ja'marr Chase for Rookie of the Year

Clark Harris had a good game

   Penniwise Sewell doesn't play here.

The Bad and Ugly

With the crowd, I thought I was in Green Bay.  I forgot home tickets are impossible to get and Cincinnati isn't that far away, relatively speaking. Whole families were there.

Carman and Peerine go on some sort of COVID list after both almost got Joe killed.  Coincidence?  I don't think so.

Were we AND THE REFS intimidated by Discount Double Check Rogers?  Possible.  D overthought all day long and some really questionable calls and non-calls.

(no intentional grounding, the non-fumble in OT... if that wasn't a fumble, neither was Jeremy Hill's all those years ago, Joe was body slammed and his head

mashed on the first sack,  etc.

Per what I read today much/most of the D problems was miscommunication with the linebackers and defensive backs.  That's correctable, I think.

The Bad and Ugly was my vile mood after the game and last evening.  I even lost sleep over it.  This is my first time back to the board since I got home

and this is always the first place I hit for the recap and reactions... great insight and additions, All.  Well... most

He was a pot stirrer.  He said stuff to rile people up and that was his

schtick.

His waterloo was he got into a real pissing contest with Housmetc.  Housh was supposed to show up for an

interview on his show and stood him up leaving Fuhrman to song and dance in the dead time.  Fuhrman

called Housh a "racist" and that's all she wrote for Andy.  I think he was on some obscure FM stations for awhile

and... don't know where he is now.

He and Mrs F adopted orphaned brothers from Serbia/Bosina, someplace over there so he wasn't all bad.

Good

Jamar Chase was the right pick, some folks need to take their head out of the sand on that

If the reason for picking Chase over an OT was that Chase would give Burrow a chance to get the ball out sooner to defeat a rush then I would say it ain't working.  Case in point was the Packers game.  If by the halfway point of the season this issue has not resolved then I suggest the Bengals got this one wrong.  It's early in the season and the line still needs to gel.  I have hope but not blind faith.  I liked both possible targets in the draft and acknowledge the reason behind taking both was sound logic.

Lastly, no rookie OT would be an answer in their rookie year but maybe their 2nd or 3rd year.  WR position seems to be able to contribute right away especially one that was on the same wavelength as the QB.  The fat lady has not begun to sing so both camps need to relax.

No, the reason the Bengals took Chase over Sewell is that they told you they were comfortable with Williams as their LT, and Williams has played well this season so far. After they signed Reiff that pretty much put the nail in it for taking a tackle. The problem with this Oline isnt at the edges, it's in the middle.

Ill say it again, the people who wanted Sewell....and I picked Sewell in Jason's draft contest, because I though the Bengals were going to be "safe".....the only reason folks wanted Sewell is because they didn't trust Williams not to be injured. ..... At least say that.

We have a LT, we signed a RT even if for a year, you dont take a RT at the #5 overall pick.

I'm not even remotely suggesting the line is good, it needs improvement from Guard to Guard.

But the Bengals made he right pick. Full Stop.

Good:

Our players are ready to win!  We have a team that can compete!

Bad:

I had to toss a coin for this one......... Drew Sample!  Personally, I don't think he's that good a blocker.  Why did we pick him at all??? Let alone too early.

Ugly:

I can't get over the game plan, game management and play calling.  Every week I say this is the Ugly section.  It's driving me nuts.

Sample nearly went here, but Zac is just not doing his job as HC.  He has contributed to culture and player selection and I give him some credit for that but his playcalling is horrible.

As a HC he needs to prepare this team, lead his coaches and let them do their jobs.  Just like he lets his players do their jobs...... ocasionally.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, his username here was "Francisco" or something similar.

I had no issues with BengalSis and enjoyed her posts here...sure she was a homer and very pro-Shayne, but who wouldn't be for their brother in the NFL?  I also think that Shayne's Mom posted here a few times...BengalMom maybe?

Doesn't seem like that was that long ago, but I guess it was...time flies.

Some tackles play very well in their first year.

Example Mechi Bechton Jets..

This year it seems to be Rashad Slater with the Chargers helping Herbert carving out an mvp type year so far..

I believe both those players didnt sit out a year..

Seems to have plummeted Sewell by doing so.

I cant believe hes a bust....yet

See how he responds before the year is out..
