Does it concern anyone else that our cornerbacks are mostly free agent and  waiver wire pickups?

Seems like if they were that good they would still be with their original teams.

Suppose that could apply to every team..

Injury concerns and maybe finding a certain backup that helps your scheme more ..

I never understand why  Darrius Phillips isnt used more..

If Phillips decision making at CB is similar to his decision making returning punts I see why they don’t use him more often.

Lol...

Was reading some analysts reports on Sir Darrius yesterday..

Consensus is hes a smallish type back 5'10 190 that is best used at slot .

Main liability is run tackling especially left alone on the outside.

He wont play much with Hilton playing well in the slot..

Im also wondering why so many fair catches up to now (8)...

He definately not getting it down in return game...

haven't seen it mentioned here but Hodge was claimed by the dolphins.......that sucks

I just saw that, too, and it does suck.

There are several other guys they could have flown under the radar and brought back

easier than him.  I would even have passed on Hargreives (whatever) and kept Hodge.
