Kinda depends on what you're into as well. If you want night life, etc... Yeah, Cincy probably isn't your place. If you like to hunt and fish, New York doesn't look so attractive.

But let's just be real... These guys are millionaires. They "work" 3 months a year. Airplanes exist. I could live upstairs from the Folies Bergere and avoid going there from September thru December. Having seen Baltimore's night life - If you only caught Covid consider yourself lucky.

The real lure of the big cities - Even the local car dealership has more money to pay Von Bell to come out and hawk Toyotas.

Frankly - Cincy's low cost of housing, available prime real estate... Save $15M on your McMansion and buy plane tickets. Few things should be more of a red flag than a guy who wants to play for your team because the clubs be banging in November. That's an idiot media narrative that really doesn't bear out.

That might have been true back in the 80s, but this is a year round league right now in terms of what you have to do to keep yourself ready to play.

But you can spend your offseason where ever you choose. Sure, you have to keep yourself ready, but there are gyms in LA. Most guys travel for their offseason program anyway. Carson still had a house in SoCal, and plenty of guys made the trip out there. Just because you play in Cincy doesn't mean you have to live in Cincy.
