Yep..Haslim definately skimming gas now among his other shady dealings.

He's all in on Watson making the Browns relevent in the AFCN..

The price he's paid is beyond unreasonable but if you dont have a legit star QB your toast now..

Star QB?  Notorious QB is more like it.  The reality is even if Watson had no legal issues $230mil guaranteed is foolish.

Now add in the legal issues, the fact he hasn’t played for a year AND he has never played an away game after the allegations and it really is an obscene amount of risk.

Isn’t he facing a possible suspension as well?

I think that depends on public pressure. Rog would be happy for this scandal to 'fade into Bolivian', as Mike Tyson once said. But it seems a lot of Brownies fans are pissed and very vocal. Will be interesting...

Browns gave up too much (ref mortgaged the future)

Paid too much

For extremely questionable merchandise.

Julio Jones new home?

That fool is the Jeffrey Epstein of the NFL.

Maybe there is a clause in the NFLPA that the AFC North

must have one rapist quarterback and Ben Raperburger

is passing the torch to Deshaun Wantsome.

BTW... when are these three first rounders due go be given?

the next three years I would assume but did not see, don't know'

how many the clowns have this year, etc.

 From CBS Sports website

"Houston sent Watson and a 2024 fifth-round pick to the Browns in exchange for first-round picks in 2022, 2023, and 2024 along with a 2023 third-rounder and a 2024 fourth-round selection".

Mayfield patch has been added ...

Don’t they need a Keenum patch, too?

Interestingly, the addition of Watson has bumped up the Browns’ Super Bowl odd to 14-1. Bengals are at 23-1. Even going to the SB still doesn’t get us any respect.

It will be very difficult for the NFL NOT to suspend him given what they have done in the past and given the reaction they have gotten when they tried to brush these things aside.

The league has said they have an investigation going on. I doubt any of the plaintiffs have consented to an interview with the league as their lawyer wouldn't want it. Problem for the league is the CBA prohibits both team and league punishment for the same offense. Watson will say he served a year long suspension with pay (equivalent to being on the commissioner's exempt list). The league doesn't consider that punishment but obviously it is. So there will likely be a grievance filed. The league will try to have Roger Goodell arbitrate it rather than the neutral aribitrator required for CBA issues.

Those aren't the odds on the team currently using the name "Browns" going to the Super Bowl.  Those are the odds that a sportsbook has to offer to convince fans to bet half-for and half-against the team currently using the name "Browns" going to the Super Bowl.  It's not about any actual improvement that the Cleveland Football Team may have experienced - and I'm not saying that CFT hasn't gotten better by replacing a full season of Mayfield with a half-season of Watson - it's about the perception among the betting public and the bribe (in terms of odds) the books have to offer to balance the bets and guarantee that they'll continue to profit.
