We should also be thanking Urban Meyer for being a shitty judge of QB talent. Joe would have gone to waste at OSU (have they ever produced an NFL-quality QB?), and transferring to LSU was the best thing to happen to him.

they didnt run a pro style offense until Ryan Day took over and fields started, so burrow wasnt going to be a killer option QB compared to some of the others, def made the rigt decision in leaving.

also no college is popping out quality nfl QB's with any regularity.

Brady went to michigan, lots of quality nfl qbs?

Brees went to Purdue.... QB U?

Rodgers went to Cal, HOF QB U?

Josh Allen went to Wyoming

Are we pretending the alabama QBs are good?

Mahomes went to Texas Tech.

Clemson might be the closest one in recent history to produce the massage rapist(watson) and shampoo commercial boy(lawrence)...

most colleges play horseshit offensive schemes, most of which are "QB runs around and buys time until a DB cant cover anymore and chucks the ball towards a wide open WR 50 yards away" barely having to read a defense... sadly thats not very good prep for having to cope with great defenders and Aaron Darnold coming for you...

Todays college QB: Stare over at the sideline as the coaching staff tells you exactly what to do as they hold up weird signboards with 3rd grade signals colored on them, then fake a handoff to the running back and run for 7 yards.

And when is the last Ohio State QB ever succeeded in the NFL? That's a genuine question.

Tom Tupa - as a punter...and the scorer of the first 2 point conversion in NFL history.  Against the Bengals.  Believe that was first game at PBS?

Kent Graham was marginally successful given that he wasn't projected to do much.

But yes, the list of turds from Columbus is stunning:

Art Shitster

Bobby Hoying (career highlight is killing the Bengals in a game)

Troy Smith

Dwayne "Dennis" Haskins

Craig Krenzel

Joe Germaine

Cardale Jones

Mike Tomczak - did he win a playoff game? Might be the only guy on this list who did

Terrelle Pryor

I guess jury is still out on Justin Fields.  The hope is that the coaches were too stupid to use him correctly although it's not a good sign that he struggled to beat out The Dullton.
