Random thoughts.

Remember when the football world thought all 4 teams in the AFCW would make the playoffs?

Detroit is rolling ..

Like to see them seeded.

Has Goff figured it out how to be effective now?

Thannks to the Front Office .

Blackburn women deserve the credit for making Cincinnati relevent in tbe NFL .

To  Mike Brown.

Thanks for letting go of the reins and believing in the women to excell...

As to the contract and what he is paid. If the Bengals decide to part ways with him before the contract has finished they set a precedent that they can and might do that with other players too. That's fine if you are the team that does contracts in a way that you front load it or back load it and cut guys before they pay out. However we are team that makes a point that guys get paid their full contract, and if we change that it's going to have a ripple effect in our ability to sign or keep other guys, because now we are a team that did something we said we don't do. That's a problem.

That's just reality in the NFL.  Every team does it.  Players and agents know it is a possibility when they sign the deal.  Its why agents want as much up front money as possible.  If the Bengals are going to step into the future with new deals for Burrow, Higgins, Chase, etc., they are going to have to do the same with highly paid players that aren't producing at an appropriate level.

They aren't going to make whole sale changes to the way they do work. The more likely model is how Pittsburgh has done it. One MAYBE two guys will get those kinds of contracts, everyone else will get the standard business model contracts.

As much as any competent QB would.  This is not 2020 Brady we're facing, I don't think he's accepted that he can't make the same throws he used to & will throw INTs if the coverage is solid.  He's playing like a 45 year old guy that wishes he'd retired a Super Bowl MVP 2 years ago.

I wouldn't take him lightly seeing as how he and his team looked vs SF. He's a competitor and he's going to want to come out and show all the doubters wrong. I would feel much better if the Bucs played SF close

I’ve become a big fan of Sewell and the Lions as a whole. Very fun team to watch. Happy to see that city have something to make them feel good about themselves again.

He's a good one.  Chase was the right pick, but Sewell wouldn't have been the wrong pick.
