A good time to be able to extend a franchise QB now (end of season before the playoffs when it's legally allowed for him) before that cap does go up so that we can have room for other guys too. I agree, like I said, they got Carson's new deal done before he took a snap in the playoffs of his 3rd year, I would be shocked if they don't do the same for Joe. I run it through my college email which IIRC is valid for 18 months after graduation so because I got my masters in may of last year I met the requirement so I get sunday ticket through DirectTV without having to get the full DirectTV.
